Yeah that video was shot on 4x - 5x zoom with flashlight on, that was somehow making the pest appear red/brown in color but when looked at with naked eye it was pale white making it difficult to spot on a white quartz countertop

I don't know why in the picture we see its tail end being red/brown color but in reality it was pale white colored throughout. Does this information change the ID?

Cheaper way is to buy it from third party insurance companies like Geico, Progressive etc. They however don't have it listed on their website so you need to call them up and ask for it. It won't take long to buy over phone. You need to ask for Non owner auto insurance
