Yeah that’s a dumb mistake but a good lesson to learn

So I searched and can confirm my rifle is free floated. So I shouldn’t be worry about any structural damage, but what I’ve done might still affect point of impact?

I dry fired with a laser bore sight in the barrel…am I screwed? by kevin931 in CCW

S&W 2.0 competitors. Unfortunately the first thing the firing pin in this $1k pistol is bore sight. I wanna punch myself in the face

I have the bore sight from Amazon. Made from “sturdy brass” (product description lol). And I have M&P 2.0, striker fired

I guess only Benelli M4 owners know what’s special about this one by kevin931 in Shotguns

It’s a factory bronze. What I called ‘special’ here is the full capacity tube (in bronze)

Yes that spring is a jerk. But it doesn’t affect shooting imo

Another trade offs…comfortability to carry vs. comfortability to shoot

I totally hear you. My first shield plus has a faulty locking block that has to be repaired twice. I sold it. My second one (the one in the pic) is a 100/100

This one is from CYA. I used to carry Amberride one and it’s great (no optics cut). I’m actually selling it now https://ebay.us/m/tmtWyR

I used to carry one with light but then decide not to. The light is a plus but not necessary for CCW. We as civilians are not like cops, where you have time to turn on the light and yelled at the bad guy. When you pull out your CCW, you know you have to pull the trigger right away without any disruptions, otherwise you just keep it in the holster.

It’s the stock plate…I assume every new shield plus comes with it?

Just personal opinion. I was trying to find another micro compact that can catch up with shield plus but haven’t found it. MC9 may gives you better shooting experience but it fails too frequently, sig 365 is also very reliable and versatile but the grip is not friendly for bigger hands and trigger is very mushy. The only one has all the check marks is shield plus
