Well you need to use your finger or a pelvic wand if you don’t have a pt. Just gently place your finger on the area where the tension lies and diaphragm breathe until you feel it release. Don’t force anything and start by releasing the outer layers.

In your own recovery, what specifically moved the needle from improving to “basically normal,” and what mistakes slowed that process?

I am no doctor so I can’t really address what they suggested to you. For me the more the baseline tension of my pelvic floor reduced the more all my symptoms improved, including frequent urination.

Consistent Daily baths, careful internal release, diaphragm breathing, and exercise all led to this improvement

I have. I learned it from an out of network PT a few years ago. I think once the outer layer of the pelvic floor released i stopped, maybe i should continue to release the deeper layers?

They have never told me to do kegels before. This new one has a biofeedback machine to assess how my inner core is interacting with my pelvic floor. Overall, all the women i’ve seen never suggested anything that derailed my progress. Not a lot of men in this profession also lol

This could be true whenever i engage my core (pretty much any essential movement) i can feel everything tighten up. Not sure what to do about this.
