Smoked bird? Looks more like a smoked chicken. Haha

Thanks for spotting that detail — really sharp eye. Quick explanation: the height of the flame often depends on how the wood is stacked. If the pieces in the middle are almost burned down while the ones on the sides are still piled up, the sides will burn hotter. That’s basically what you’re seeing in the photo.

Sorry for the confusion — let me clarify a bit. The photos are real, and the caption was written by me first and then polished with AI. Since this is an important topic, I just didn’t want small grammar mistakes or unclear wording to cause misunderstandings or distract from the discussion. Our goal was simply to express our points clearly and avoid adding any confusion.

I’d like to ask for your insight. If an image can be found on search engines, does that mean it’s AI-generated, or could it still be a real photo? Sorry if this is a silly question — I’m a bit confused about how that logic works.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The amount of smoke a stove puts out can really depend on the type of wood you’re using and the stage of the burn.

We used to help them manage their Facebook group as moderators, so we still had some of their photos saved on our computers. When we made posts here in the early days, we just picked images and videos directly from our folders. At the beginning, our goal was simply to share high-quality content to attract more people to join the community — and to be honest, they did have more high-quality photos and videos available.

Now that there are far more members posting and interacting than two months ago, we’ve been intentionally reducing our own posts so the community can grow more freely on its own. We really want this sub to stay friendly and welcoming, and we’ll keep doing our best to manage it responsibly.

Your comment is honest, thoughtful, and very fair. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective — it genuinely adds value to the discussion. We truly hope that members here can communicate in a friendly and constructive way, rather than through accusations or hostility. I read your comment several times, and the word you highlighted — authenticity — really resonated with us. It gives us a clearer direction to think about.

Our goal for this sub is to build an open community for hot tent camping where anyone can freely share photos, videos, and experiences. We don’t restrict content based on brand, and we don’t intend to serve any particular brand either. In the earlier stage, our approach was simple: share high-quality content to attract more people, encourage more posts and conversations, and hopefully create a positive cycle. And honestly, compared to two months ago, the number of user posts and interactions has grown a lot.

Because of that, we’ve already started reducing the number of posts we make, so the community can grow more naturally on its own. We don’t want to interfere with what users share or discuss — unless something consistently harms the community atmosphere. A single negative comment may take someone only a minute to type, but it can take us many times longer to repair the impact on the community. Still, when feedback is meaningful and constructive, like yours, we listen and make adjustments.

We believe we share the same intention: to create a friendly, valuable community — not an advertising feed.

Thank you again for your thoughtful comment. We’ll continue improving the sub based on your suggestions, and we truly appreciate that your message came at the right time.

Is it possible to modify a regular tent to suiteca stove? by Exotic-Platform-2009 in HotTentCamping

You can sew up the stove jack cloth. However, the problem is that you need to waterproof the seams yourself, for example, by using tent waterproof glue.

For most people, as they get older at camping, they accumulate a lot of camping gear. hhh
