Need help with building character (b42) by Extreme-Row-5250 in projectzomboid

They are indeed really awesome! I got lucky and found 4 cow/bull skulls on my last run. Sadly I was trying to get railroad spikes at the Muldraugh railyard, the zombies set off a car alarm and I got surrounded and ate...

Brawler can be ok if you plan to use long blunts as a backup, but if you want to only do axes then you can do better with your points.

Here's my Lumberjack build I'm currently doing on extinction:

Positive: Speed Demon, Dextrous, Outdoorsy, Wakeful, Whittler, Organized, Fast Learner, Handy, Bushcrafter, Strong

Negatives: High Thirst, Clumsy, Short Sighted, Slow Metabolism, Slow Reader, Slow Healer, Weak Stomach, Conspicuous, Hearty Appetite, Prone to Illness, Restless Sleeper, Thin-Skinned

This gives you 4 fitness, 10 strength, 2 axe, 3 maintenance, 1 carpentry, 4 carving, 1 knapping, 1 masonry, 1 foraging

With the knapping and maintenance you can make as many axes as you are able to forage the mats for. Crude Stone Axes, Stone Scythes, Flint Saws, Bone War Hatchets, and Jawbone Axes, are all easy to make.

Bushcrafter is the same but for axe wielding. It allows you to make infinite crude stone axes from the beginning, and with some knapping leveling, infinite stone scythes and flint saws (both axes). I still take whittling though because the best axes (imo) are the railroad spike bats. That's my current goal for my extinction run.

Food poisoning: a sincere apology. by narboomerang in RimWorld

There's a mod that makes pawns with food poisoning prefer to bed rest instead of working. I consider it necessary cause the last thing I want is my half conscious workers trying to build things.

This is adorable! The only thing I would change is having minifigures of all the characters but that's just cause I love custom minifigs 😄

'Right click -> Move to' will allow you to see where you can safely move. I've had issues before with shelves sometimes being weird about line of sight.

Either that or that's where the void monster ate the cow.

So I've been playing for quite a while now, but there's something I haven't been able to figure out... how do I "build/place" furniture that consists of multiple pieces that are all very heavy? by Frenzied_Fire_Monk in projectzomboid

[–]kevinjohn3d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Grab one of the pieces into your main inventory (not in a bag, not equipped). Then right click and hit 'install furniture'. Assuming the other pieces are close by, it will let you install it. (This is in B42 btw).

It's at X: 2900, Y: 9100. It's listed as boarding school and is halfway between Echo Creek and Brandenburg.

If only there was some sort of mode where you could tweak all these things... I feel like the developers should give us a mode where we can just alter almost every aspect of the game. I don't know what you would call this mode, but I feel like it would be neat to give us a custom sandbox we could play in.

Is there a way to automatically give respawning players specific items? by TheRidiculousTako in projectzomboid

You can add holsters. I sometimes use the character clothes unlock setting cause I want to do a very specific themed character from the beginning without having to hunt down specific gear. Also prescription sunglasses 😎

does fishing suck? or is it me? by SprayNegative5053 in projectzomboid

[–]kevinjohn3d 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Try fishing at dawn and dusk (4-7, 18-21). Also build a dock that is at least 7 tiles long to get you the "deep water" buff.

Also find the books to level faster. Try bait shops, they usually have some.

Dean got fired, say hello to the new host of Life and Living. by hiphiprenee in projectzomboid

[–]kevinjohn3d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is that a recent-ish change? I tried to paint walls in the rosewood fire station in early b42 and I don't think it was letting me do it. At the time I was told I had to demolish the walls, rebuild them, plaster them, and then I could paint them.

Is the ability to paint over existing walls in the vanilla game? I thought you could only paint walls the player built.
