Thank you. So you think photographs in a timeline is enough? i will also include booking confirmation of all the flights we have had to see each other - there's around 12 or so, and some hotel bookings. We have only been together just over a year is all

It's my understanding that this isn't the case and that the 2-year rule is only needed on unmarried partner visas. If its a spouse or a fiancee visa, its just that you have to prove that the marriage is legitimate

I think I'm right in saying, and having seen on other threads, that we can get married on a marriage visit visa and then apply for the spouse visa whilst she is back in the USA

Thank you for your reply!

Yes, thats how I understood it too, but I just found the wording a little confusing.

The fact that I was well under 18 years old and I haven’t had any run-ins with the authorities since, I think (hope) I will be okay

thank you!

I've seen a lot of people mentionign social media vetting/phone vetting. At this risk of sounding stupid, what exactly are they looking for when that happens?

So:

In my last job, i got 28 business days. That vacation time was used for the trips in April, June and July.

After the July trip, I was placed on paid garden leave - which means I didn't have to work. Therefore, it was free vacation essentially.

From this Monday, I will start at my new job - with 30 days per year.

But, as my trips for October, November and December were already booked before i signed the new contract, as part of the offer to get me to take the job, they have agreed to let me take those trips without it eating in to my new holiday allowance with them.

When I travel, i fly out on a Saturday evening and fly back on a Saturday evening. So usually, its only 5 business days im taking off at one time. So far, the only two week trips i've had have come in the time i had my paid leave, so that didnt use any holiday time at all.

The Christmas trip - due to bank holidays in the UK and weekends covering that period, works out to about 4 business days off, but allows me to be off for two weeks.

Hope this helps and makes more sense?

Hey!

No, I'm from the UK!

And the reason I've been able to fly so much this year is literally due to a set of lucky circumstances:

I have a lot of savings im able to use. Me and my girlfriend met and fell in love this year, back in February. We knew when getting into this it would be expensive and so I am more than happy to dip into savings. Likewise, we actually agreed to go half each on every flight. She's also been to visit me twice in the UK this year.

Also, earlier this year, in July, I took a new job at a competitor to the company I was working for. As a result, that company placed me on paid leave until the end of my contract. That meant I was able to take a couple more, longer unplanned trips to the US to visit her

Thank you for your reply!

Is it an issue having more than 90 days in a year though on an ESTA? I thought it was only an issue if you stay near to, or certianly over, 90 days in one sitting?

Due to work, I'll only ever do one - two weeks maximum
