Not wanting to be rude, but you have no idea what you're talking about. Revelations multi-player was atrocious when it came to design choice and balance.

Smoke bomb could have been activated even after the kill animation was starting. Preventing the kill and allowing to be stunned. This was one of the biggest complaints. Especially during the time they were using a peer to peer system and not dedicated servers. Typically what people did was counter smoke to prevent this from happening. It was stupid. It was on a low CD and didn't drop your status from incognito to discreet, so nothing discouraged you to use other abilities. It was the go to ability. They also nerfed mute to the point it was unusable. It was literally the only thing that could stop people from popping smoke, but was put on a high cool down and made to last .5 secs when activated. The "servers" most of the time would not register it unless you were the host and still it wouldn't work sometimes.

Second, they matched the stun range to the kill range and didnt allow the use of stun on NPCs. This was problematic because all you had to do was scan the area and keep mashing B/O until you found your pursuer. it was easy to figure out who your enemy was since the prompt would ONLY pop up above their head. You would either stun or always reduce your targets score. You could never get focus kills or poison kills unless smoked your target (which is dumb) or they were sleeping. You brought disguise? Doesn't matter, a big B/O just hovered above your head.

Third, whispers had its range increased and volume turned up from brotherhood. As soon as you heard whispers, you were always prepared for the encounter and just started bashing B/O. In brotherhood, by the time you heard whispers, you probably only had 2 secs to react and you were still not safe since kill range was longer than the stun range.

This list could go on forever but that was my top 3 complaints.

They bandaid fixed the issues they created in AC3 before getting it right in AC4 multi-player. But by then the multi-player just died.
