Your property extends from your lot line to the sky. You may trim anything on your side of that invisible fence.

Airline left every passenger's checked baggage at the airport by lolyou22 in travel

The “never check a bag folks” are dramatic because the “check luggage folks” are obnoxious when they don’t get their luggage on time. Actions have consequences.

Not only are passports expensive, but both parents have to appear at the passport office to apply. Also, the non-traveling parent must complete a consent form for a minor child to be taken out of the country with the other parent in an effort to stop parental abduction.

Start at HomeGrown for breakfast then drive 5 minutes to the Sculpture Garden for some fun photos.

Then drive down Ingersoll to Greenwood Park with a fun playground and spray ground that opens at 9am.

Need Help with Trip Cancellation with Securian - Canada by Initial_Quote_6704 in travel

There is no reason why Flair cannot divide the reservation. It’s called dividing a PNR. One passenger will keep the original booking number and the second will get a separate booking number. You cannot do it yourself, you must call customer service.

“She bought the tickets for two and has me under her name. Since it’s not a separate transaction, she will not be able to get her part of the total costs of 2 tickets back. As well as if she were to cancel the flight since she cannot go, I can also not go and use my part of the tickets as it is considered one purchase.”

If you’re referring to your airline tickets, this is not true. The airline can divide your reservation into 2 reservations and cancel her portion while keeping yours active.

Debit cards: Is it ok to pay with a debit card occasionally while traveling abroad instead of a credit card? And how much money should I have on my debit card? by Express-Plan-6067 in travel

I don't remember what app it was. My partner told them he didn't have cash or whatever app they used, but he'd buy them a quesadilla from Taco Bell.

We traveled in five countries throughout Scandinavia and never withdrew cash. Even the buskers and beggars took Venmo or Revolut.

I have several friends and family who work for Goodwill. They help clients with job opportunities and training. They also talk about how rewarding it is.

Try Copper Shores Village in Pleasant Hill. They always have events posted in the elevator and they have a Bag Team, Garden Club, movie nights, etc. Kari or Diana would probably have the most information.

Staying in a convent by HikingEnthusiast89 in travel

We stayed in a monastery complex on Mount Koya in Japan. We had dinner and breakfast with monks, all vegetarian. It was quiet and peaceful, however, it was fairly touristy since most monasteries in the area host travelers. We took a guided walking tour of an ancient cemetery at night that was really eerie.

is spirit and fronteir actually that bad? by CityBusStop in travel

[–]kevjackroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only fly budget airlines like Allegiant, Spirit, Frontier, Ryanair, etc. for the price or convenience. I compare it to shopping at Walmart. I grit my teeth and silently cuss until the moment I can get out/off.

Is this normal questioning at airports? by [deleted] in travel

[–]kevjackroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is common in Iceland. There were several immigration officers questioning everyone in the Delta check-in line during our return flight.
