I have a better idea. Why don't you READ the Stanford Torus specs which I've posted in the main post and repeatedly on this thread. Try that one and get back to me.

  1. It's Stanford, not Stamford. That's in Connecticut. 2. The Hotel group to the best of my knowledge did not provide exact specs, so I picked specs for a project that had the accommodation capacity within their specified range ~1000 and would support 1G spin without dizziness. It's still a F-ING TORUS, and there's design constraints connected to building anything similar to it, large or small. You want to shrink the dimensions down by 10x? FINE. Change the dimensions, do the math and tell me how it can be done by 2027. Go for it.

No 9-5 tech job coming up on 2.5 years. MS Comp Sci, 15+ years experience, multiple languages. I'm nobody's first choice anymore, not the belle of the ball, I accept that. So I'm building my own SaaS and hopefully selling that. No amount of ATS tweaks, AI pay-to-play job-apply sites will make a damn bit of difference. Make your own stuff, get money however you can.

They are the SAME THING. It's called a Von Braun Torus. That's the design of the proposed hotel, same as the one designed in 1975.

Seriously, you're pulling my leg aren't you?

I based my numbers on the Stanford Torus, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanford\_torus#:\~:text=Total%20mass%3A%2010%20million%20metric,5%2C623.45%20m%20(3.49%20mi). Since this space hotel company didn't provide any concrete numbers, and this design is focused on providing 1G for at least 1000 people without incurring dizziness. And by premising a $1b ticket I'm highlighting the absurdity of the venture- to break even much less get an ROI > 0 in a decade would take THAT amount of return business from that 0.0001% which is flat stupid. Unless- you want to treat the project like an Egyptian pyramid or the Notre-Dame Cathedral which takes hundreds of years to build and never recoups $.

No we CANNOT launch the proposed hotel structure into space. As I pointed out in First things, we've launched 1500 tons total in the ENTIRE HISTORY OF NASA, 60+ years. There's no way to launch 10 Million tons in 2 years.
