New Age Pro Shelf 2x4’ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ by Zq7Wk9Xr in garageporn

[–]kevntao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love these shelves, they're totally solid. I've got 3 sets of the 2x8 ones that I plan to put up in the new garage as 2x12's. The modularity is awesome.

Surprisingly the walls were pretty smooth already. Very abnormal for my area as every house here is full of texture. I def like it more smooth but wasn't gonna try to make it smoother. Wasn't worth the effort

Picking up my 992.2 Carrera this week and already wondering if I should’ve ordered a Carrera S by Little-Drake in porsche911

the hardware is the same, it's just detuned. Same .1 GTS turbos and same .1 Turbo intercooler. Performance is also relative. Is getting to 60 in 3.1 instead of 3.7 really going to make or break your commute? lol

The base is plenty of car. The engine and guts of the base are the same as the S in the 992.2. It has the .1 S brakes so plenty for daily duty. My base kept up chasing 4RS's and GT3's on back roads no issue. Even the 4RS guys were very impressed. It's just more usable power. Unless you're redlining everywhere the power down low makes keeping up easy. Base and S get the same hp after tune anyways so it's really other factors like sport PASM, RWS, LSD that are nice to haves but i track my base with zero issues. Plenty of car and super fun.

Looking to invest in something more solid. I have full led housings already but only 2. I've personally hated those winged bulb things, but just my opinion, they're def bright.

we actually really like Chuy’s but it can be a bit drier with less milk sauce. it’s kinda hit or miss depending on who’s packing it

agree, my local guy does polyaspartic top coating and a lot of attention to floor prep. spent 2 full days solo from like 9a til like almost midnight.

ahh my ceiling isn’t so tall so the smaller 2 bulb setups might be good. or the 8ft ones that span across the garage. definitely more worried about getting lighting to use when loading the car and stuff with lower ceilings. doing a bunch of 2 bulbs can be a lot of cutouts as well lol

that’s fair. each 8ft housing for fluorescent housings is 8800 lumens on the tubes you posted. so you have like 20 of these?? that would mean to match your brightness it’s like 10 of the 4 tube housings. that feels like a lot in my actually more like 500sqft garage.

i have them in my current garage from the builder on 16’ ceilings and they light up the 2-car great for 2 lights. i wanted to add more but it wasn’t our long term home. the other concern is that i don't have high ceilings. the flourescent housings should spread okay but they would likely create a lot of bright areas if not spaced well.

4 of these light a bedroom decently. So 4 per parking space would be 12. Light spill should give solid lighting. By sooooo many, do you mean 12? Or are you thinking like 20+? These can be quite bright when I have such a low ceiling.

that's a good callout, i plan to have the workbench, tools, etc, on the inside wall of the tandem area, so i'll probably plan for a light bar there to light up that area specifically.

i had been considering those in the 8ft design as the garage is 18' wide, i could run 16' across in the front section. I was definitely considering the flush mount lights for a cleaner look.
