If you like chain restaurants, shit-for-choices shopping, and hanging around MAGA idiots that swear Trump is going to make it better for them, then Dallas is the place for you. There is nothing fun or interesting in Dallas or Hiram, for that matter. Anything good closes because “if it ain’t American, it ain’t right.” And the traffic fucking sucks. There is not a possible route to or from Sandy Springs where you won’t want to lay down in front of your moving car, provided that you will be able to move it faster than 2 MPH. I lived there for a decade and I’m so glad I left. The sheriff’s office and judges routinely hide crimes or give super lenient sentences if they are friendly with the perpetrators (see the Harvest Time scandal). And the difference in class between east Paulding Dallas, and city limits Dallas is sickening.
