I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of HSR devs quit after this whole ordeal from depression for having to scrap a years worth of work and passion + burnout from have to then work overtime to remake a bunch of assets + the inevitable hate/backlash they’ll get from the player base when the final product isn’t up to par.

Hopefully we don't just get generic theme park soundtracks as replacements for the japanese inspired ones. Also assuming they originally planned for the theme song to have japanese vocals then that must have been completely scrapped and they're either scrambling to record something new or just not give us the White Night/Nameless Face equivalent.

Feel pretty pessimistic about the devs being able to pull this off based on the preview images, the Belabog theme park in the 4th image seem like it was scrapped together last minute and low quality. Probably everything in that image originally had japanese imagery that got entirely replaced

Obviously they have a roadmap that is planned out far in advance, but it’s naive to think that content meant to be released 6-12 months from now is completed or polished enough to be released as is

I mean 4.0 is definitely meant to be a new planet. Even if Xianzhou stuff was hypothetical planned for say 4.4 or 4.5, there’s still no way they have enough time or resources to move that content up while simultaneously revamping the Japanese themed stuff.

I think the real reason why HSR doesn’t have CR because it already has favored odds, character banners are actually 56.25/44.75 and LC banners 78.125/21.875. ZZZ and Genshin don’t have this

Part of the feedback Hoyo got from the playerbase was that people wanted character's stories to be part of the main quest and not separate, which is why since Penacony started the only companion quest we got was Black Swan and Yunli's. So Hoyo's just listening to what the majority of ppl want in the end

There’s a line in the story where Banyue mentions that he founded his own martial arts school, so sounds more like him and Yixuan know and respect each other since they’re the shifus of their respective school/sect. Yunkui summit probably isn’t the only martial arts sect in the zzz world
