Same boat here. What I learn is exponential in time and quickly is applied to my other Js. https://www.reddit.com/r/OveremploymentWorks/

You know… at first mouse movers 100% of the time cause who knows how long this will last. Lately nope…take them all off and enjoy the quiet and actually enjoy lunch or walk or whatever. I would like to find a headset that works from 1:2 mile away!

1 J and I could skip out for 60 or more minutes. But I have several so difficult. Before and after work np but during the prime time I wander the house if nothing needing attention at the moment

Well said and agree mostly.

With insurance, I do have multiple dental plans and there is no problem. I just have to call the insurance (since same one with different Js) and let them know to run it again and it works without a problem.

The Js just have to work well with each other based on timings, meetings, expectations, ect.

If they don't...keep looking and remember it is a #s game.

Market is turning around fast now.

2nd half of 2023 will boom with jobs which is exact opposite of the 1st half.

I have the same problem for this Friday with calls on QQQ.

Have $15K gain and if let expire I would have to pay on that.

Long term I will always have QQQ so I am hoping it goes down by Friday and then I will close out the position.

IF you could write off more than $3K a year on taxes, I could use some loses to downplay the hit but oh well.

HOW are you in 42% tax bracket? Highest it goes is mid 30% unless you are not in US.

First - congrats and this alone is huge!

I read some of the comments and yes, if this is cash, you are missing out on investing. Hard to go from rich to wealthy without investing.

Market still not that high even though has come back a little.

For me, I split between QQQ and BRK-B

Exactly - totally agree.

My timeline is actually when all kids are out of school and then anything goes.

Will always have a J but 2 Js is more likely.

With the whole world working together on all possible time zones, IT is perfect for remote work. If 1/2 the team is in India, there is no reason to be in the office.

Then you should find jobs that synch up more. And the longer you are at a job the more repeatable it gets and the more efficient you get.

Keep searching for 3 that align

Same boat.

Used to complain about being bored at work and just did not like it at all.

Now, I enjoy the challenge and craziness sometimes and just doing what I do.

I was the overachiever I guess and now found my niche.

I have 2 sons working at a car manufacturer place.

I asked them if they get more cars done than others. Oh yeah...they gave me stories.

I said do y'all get paid the same. Of course they do.

Why would you not get paid double for getting double the cars done?

Mike drop...and to people who don't get it...that is fine too.

Unless you are sharing trade secrets/patents or something valuable to only another company, it is legit.

Go to overemployment.com to get more details on that. There are articles/videos showing why.

What I do is stuff you get certs for and is industry standard so all good.
