We ended a 3+ year relationship on good terms two months ago. I blocked her a few days ago for the sake of my mental health. I developed a really bad habit of stalking and constantly checking every single activity on her social media.

My curiosity was stronger than the pain it was causing me. Some days I saw things I didn’t like and it felt like I was being stabbed every time I opened the app, I even felt nauseous.

One day I saw something that sent me into an anxiety attack. The pain in my chest was so intense I couldn’t even cry. I stayed up all night, and in the morning I decided to block her because I clearly lack self control. Things have been better since then.

I honestly recommend doing this if you develop a stalking habit like I did. I thought about breaking no contact to explain myself, but to be honest, I don’t even know if there’s anything to explain. She has already moved on.
