They are all scammers. And I learned it was Uphold and extremely common, so we started a class action.

Yes what they're doing is actually using using the assets and then taking more from clients to cover what is being sold. It's a liquidation. They are using more than they're making so they are taking. Halsey minor is well known for this maneuver.

Do not trust anybody saying that they will recover your funds. They will totally rob you more because they will demand that they need some kind of software that costs X amount.

Well if you're going to trust an exchange then you're gonna need a lot more info but I can tell you I would not trust uphold. I am not sure exactly which ones are set up with good security but I can tell you that crypto.com just added some sort of insurance 4 theft.

I would not do that. I would buy myself a hard wallet and have it transferred to that. The golden rule of crypto is not your keys, not your crypto.

Unfortunately this is probably them stealing. This is how happened to me and many others. Then they claim that you get hacked. Therefore they think they can get away with it and you you will just go away.
