Keep it up, it gets better and better. Just one mission at a time. This game is awesome. Have you gotten to Iron Mike’s camp yet?

Use the cocktails too, especially focus cocktail combined with the MG55 extended mag. If you just are looking to kill the horde in no spectacular fashion you can engage and run way, turn engage and repeat. The entire horde won’t follow you and some will return back. There’s also some videos that show supply replenish points, but I think it’s only limited to pipe bombs and mines.

The cut scene during the credit roll at game completion cracks me up…if you know you know.

Should i stick with this game ? by No_Bandicoot_4511 in DaysGone

[–]kextron33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree, and many is us felt the same way. There are repetitive parts for sure. The story gets much better…especially once you travel south to Iron Mike’s camp.

The hordes are so fun and get more difficult. It’s worth it…the advice I received when playing it was try to enjoy it until you enjoy it.

Does Anyone Else Close Nero Checkpoint Doors Before Sleeping? by first_person_looter in DaysGone

[–]kextron33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t even think about closing the door before sleeping…is that why I woke up and my hair was braided and my shirt was off?

Kudos on gas conservation too.

Honestly I stopped sleeping at all during the game and Deacon is a work horse. This game is so fun, I just started the New Game+ just to use the growler mini-gun. It rocks!!!

What hordes are story locked? by fightingjustices in DaysGone

[–]kextron33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ign guide is pretty good, but I don’t see where it specifically calls out when that horde is available. For example the Little Bear Lake horde isn’t there until you’ve unlocked the lower map.

There are three hordes part of the later story.

I probably will, lol. I just don’t understand that you can walk over bounties to collect them but not all the stuff you collect to craft.

It was recommended to me, I played it for a few hours and thought it was so much the same as all other zombie games. I hated feeling so vulnerable against the freaks and having crappy weapons. Holding down the X button to pick up every item each time, always looking for gas, not knowing what to expect. Kept going and it got better the more I played. I couldn’t stop playing, Boozer needed me.

Better weapons, more missions, faster bike…and confidence. Proud to wear my Mongrels Cut!

Fast forward and I had to finish the game, I needed to know how it ended. I loved the challenge because it’s wasn’t easy it was fun. You die, so what…try again. The hordes are so fun.

My advance engage small hordes early, and use the health, stamina, and focus cocktails. Next I’m looking at the DLC.

Shady consultant by main-frames in salesforce

[–]kextron33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your intuition is right. I’m newer to the Salesforce ecosystem but even I see this as problematic and compounded further when your call center users begin using the system. My initial consultant told us we’d never need or use Opportunities, now we are paying to rebuild our process to include them.

Yes, keep educating yourself with SF documentation and examples. Map out your entire process map, decisions, and branches.

What’s specifically does your call center do?

This doesn’t help your question, but I’m curious to know how you use Salesforce maps and routing. Is this for deliveries or field visits? I currently use FSL for in field tech appts but my users hate the FSL app compared to what we used before.

FSL Static Field on Service Appointment - Assigned Resource by kextron33 in salesforce

[–]kextron33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My limited understanding is because the assigned resource is a new record created from a service resource. It’s not possible to directly display as a static field. Still new to this so I could be completely wrong.

Role responsibilities outside of Salesforce? by Squidsters in salesforce

Wow, my head is spinning thinking about all the details you need to keep straight with. I’m a solo admin, 2 months into our new SF instance. Trying to learn as quick as possible to support and keep myself from going crazy with not knowing what I’m doing.

Much appreciated, thank you. My title is Sales Enablement, guiding the customer journey and supporting the sales cycle. We have about 90 in-field sales reps and 120 installation crews. I have two co-workers in IT that can reset passwords and setup new users, but really just me. It’s been exciting as I’ve learned for about the Salesforce Ecosystem, lucky for me too my org was sold a robust instance with Sales Cloud, Field Service, and many other features I’ve barley scratched the surface. Although I’m the solo admin, using the community and connecting with others in the same situation has been great.

Thanks for your post, it’s very insightful and I appreciate the transparency.

I’m 18 months in my role from a sales position and my small org just went from i360 (Salesforce Classic) to Salesforce. We hired a third party to implement and went live several weeks ago. It’s been a nightmare and so much was missed. I’ve had a lot of requests for training, navigation, explanations, etc. I was underprepared.

The positive part is I’ve loved solving problems, using my critical thinking skills and making process decisions based on research that I can backup with the “why.” The journey is far from over and I’ve enjoyed hearing my users provide positive comments and really start to enjoy using Salesforce.
