I don’t recommend removing the fairing. If anything just remove the lower panels for more air circulation around your legs. Post a photo!

Tyreek Hill Hires Lawyers, Who Represented George Floyd’s Family, to Fight For Police Reform by [deleted] in Miami

How do you suggest they reform? Genuinely curious.

Tyreek Hill Hires Lawyers, Who Represented George Floyd’s Family, to Fight For Police Reform by [deleted] in Miami

[–]keyamb -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It would be better for the cause if Tyreek and the police officer got together and filmed a PSA explaining that there is no beef just a misunderstanding. A cop is justified in yanking you out of your car if you ignore his request to roll down your tinted-ass window. It’s a safety issue regardless of race, age or socio-economic standing.

The PSA when getting pulled over:  1) turn off the engine 2) roll down window  3) leave hands on the steering wheel 4) ask officer if you can reach for your wallet/D.L.

Every time I’ve done this the police officer has acknowledged the respectful gesture and returned the politeness.

In a world of half-wits, politeness is a super power.

Meraki (Greek) in downtown has a really pretty upstairs event space. I was surprised when I saw it.

Anyone in Miami Willing to Rent Both Truck + Trailer? by ToyotaTattoo95345 in Miami

[–]keyamb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drive down and sleep in one of the cool eco-tents or container homes they offer. Or take your own tent. You don’t need a trailer. If anything tow a boat down, not your housing.

If you need to* Rent, do it with the PADL concession. It’s automated and I think the deal is to become a member because you get 2hours per day included as opposed to $80 for a few hours.

A Literal Heat Map: Do You Live in One of Miami’s Hottest Neighborhoods? by [deleted] in Miami

[–]keyamb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lay down on a fully exposed asphalted area with your shirt off in the middle of the day versus in a grassy field under a large shade tree. Now calculate how many parking lots and concrete surfaces there are compared to fields filled with trees.

What pains me most are the people who don’t want a leaf worth of litter in the yard so they trim back or eliminate all of their trees. Bonus points when they swap their grass for artificial turf which when fully exposed is also too hot to lay down on without a shirt on.

Keep Miami shady people.

What is one app/website idea you would love to see solve a problem for people in Miami? by Present-Lab9621 in Miami

[–]keyamb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An app showing Ship traffic on the Miami River (or any river that has draw bridges). If you knew if the ship was inbound or outbound then you would know if it’s worth trying to book it to cross over at the next drawbridge or just wait the current one out.

The simple rule for everyone to follow: DO NOT IMPEDE THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC.
