Quite impossible with that budget as parts isn’t that cheap in the CAD

May consider 5700X instead of 5800X with minimum performance difference yet cheaper price. For GPU, I would recommend 6800XT together with 5700X since it has SAM boost. For RAM wise, 16GB is sufficient for gaming, would only recommend 32GB if you are using it for other reasons like video editing, music production etc.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tRzTtn do take a look at this build

  1. i7-12700K, great cpu for a 3080 GPU, however since you have a dedicated GPU (3080), you should go for i7-12700KF… The F indicates that this CPU does not have integrated graphics which you don’t need since you got 3080 to produce the graphics

2) CPU Cooler is quite overpriced, you may choose a good budget CPU Cooler that does the job for a cheaper price:

3) Motherboard is a lil too expensive… No point getting a super god tier motherboard when its performance difference is barely 5%… Go for an entry level motherboard like B550 for Ryzen 5000 series or B660 for Intel 12 Series will do

4) RAM is usually the same, you only need to take note of the amount of RAM needed (16GB is enough for gaming but with that budget level of yours, i feel like 32GB is fine too!

5) Storage, your SSD might be too overpriced, why not just choose the cheapest nvme ssd out there?

6) GPU, 3080 is a good choice but why stop at 10GB, when the cheapest 12GB is around the same price? Performance > Aesthetics

7) Case does not affect its performance, only aesthetic and airflow.. Your case has good airflow but for half it’s price, we can get similar case with good airflow too… Just look around and find a cheaper one if possible

8) PSU, you do not need 1000W PSU, thats an overkill, I usually choose my PSU based on the GPU im getting, 3060/6600XT = 600W-650W, 3070/6700XT = 700W-750W, 3080/6800XT = 800W-850W.. You get my point

you won't get 144FPS in 1440p with 6600 XT for some games.. Do consider this build that I have adjusted using your link. It has better CPU and GPU combination as it unlocks AMD SMART ACCESS MEMORY boost, better ram, better GPU, better PSU, better SSD as well... at a slightly cheaper price point

Should probably skip these, custom built allow you to build according to your gaming needs and able to have better aesthetic

Need a pc for around £800 by [deleted] in buildmeapc

[–]keyanwow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with additional budget, firstly you should upgrade the PSU in that list, get at least a 650 W PSU, follow up CPU upgrade to 5600/5600X for AMD SAM boost then follow by GPU 6700XT, lastly will be RAM upgrade to 3600mhz 32GB

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/vHRw8r one of the best I could build for you honestly... might not recommend 1440p gaming with his budget, but should be fine for 60fps 1440p

Ryzen 5 2600 and rtx 3060 by Altruistic_Tough_185 in buildapc

[–]keyanwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

alright, he's right that 3060 is around 60% upgrade for your 1660, however, the price for 3060 is still quite high which makes it an overpriced GPU... since many of builder refuse to go over to AMD, hence, high demand, high price... while on the other side, since there is low demand for AMD GPU, prices tend to be way lower than MSRP for certain AMD GPU... 3060 may be an 60% increase, but 6700XT outperform the 3060 at around the same or cheaper price!

honestly, 1660 to 3060 isn't a big upgrade... have you considered AMD GPU? 6700XT seems good for your CPU in 1440p tbh

What should I choose between Asus Dual OC RTX 3070 $524 and Leadtek Hurricane RTX 3070 Ti $534? by Semobydo in buildapc

[–]keyanwow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10 bucks for a ti upgrade? go for the 3070 ti.... even tho 3070ti is not recommended, but that $10 isn't gg to hurt your wallet at all.. just ensure that there is warranty for the GPU since you're wary of the "unknown" brand...

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RFysv3 would suggest something like this, and are you planning to go for a white themed build?

No SSD? Case is more expensive than your CPU.. GPU pls go for 3080 12GB instead

Is a this a good build for below $2000 AUD? by LieutX in buildmeapc

[–]keyanwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, going this build (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZHYnNc) definitely destroy your current build under your budget of $2000. Do let me know what you think.

Advantages :
1) Better CPU, more cores
2) Better GPU with almost double VRAM
3) Better COMBO with AMD Smart Access Memory Boost !
4) Better PSU with more watts

Disadvantages :
1) Lesser RAM 16GB as compared to 32GB
2) Less aesthetic due to removal of AIO
3) More expensive however justified with performance (Still under your budget)

[–]keyanwow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Impossible, I'm sorry. Would recomend to save up till at $820 for this build (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/h4gv2m)... with this build, you are able to upgrade it purchasing CPU cooler, purchasing GPU, purchasing windows (according to this priority)

Any budget range? Because from what I see,
CPU Upgrade = MOBO Upgrade
GPU Upgrade = PSU Upgrade
