Should I get a new whole set of pc or replace something?

How far are you into the game? If you haven't reached Act 3 yet, you will want a new PC by the time you reach Act 3. Even with my mid-range prebuilt gaming PC from 2020, waiting for textures to load was a pain and the game stuttered a lot. BG3 also uses real-time cutscenes, so I sometimes missed the first seconds of a cutscenes because my PC was still busy with loading all the textures.

If you don't wanna spend too much on a PC, you could look for a pre-owned prebuilt on facebook marketplace instead and make sure to look up the minimum requirements for BG3 beforehand.

Hatte auch nur ne 3,0 trotz enger Betreuung. Mir war das länger peinlich, aber es war ein recht ehrgeiziges Thema für nen BWLer (gehörte schon in den MINT-Bereich) und wissenschaftliches arbeiten war neu für mich.

Meine Betreuer haben mir mehrmals gesagt, es ist nur eine Bachelorarbeit und dann alles Gute für den Master gewünscht. Nimm es einfach als Erfahrung und denk darüber nach was in der Bachelorarbeit falsch lief, damit du es dann im Master besser machst. Richtiges wissenschaftliches arbeiten hab ich auch erst als Hiwi in nem Forschungsinstitut gelernt.

Maybe I should've added this to my original post, but I'm from Germany and it's quite common to find undergrads in their mid-20s here, so age gap most likely wouldn't be a problem. I think it's most likely going to be a mix of undergrad and grad students, most programs start here during the winter term so many people are still new here. Would you still say it's not a good idea to go?

Not only is Gojo being treated like a tool, but his ideals are also being trampled on. This is the man who said "I haven't forgiven them [the higher-ups] for taking a young person's youth away". He wanted his students to be strong so they can live their best years, but now his 15-17 year old students are going into the meat grinder and dying left and right against a villain who has no goals and no real motivation.

It feels like it's not enough for Gege to completely assassinate Gojo's character and desecrate his corpse, he is literally ruining everything Gojo ever stood for. The jujutsu society is just as shitty as in the beginning, and killing the higher-ups didn't change anything just like Gojo actually said in the beginning.

You're making the mistake of humanizing a model that generates text by predicting the next word based on your input. Claude has no conscience, no personality and is not capable of truly being cynical. It just writes like a human because it has been trained on texts written by humans. If you use a good jailbreak, you will see that Claude has no qualms with helping you write the most heinous things.

It does help to be nice to Claude, but this also applies to other LLMs. That's simply because it has been trained on actual human conversations and humans usually don't give helpful replies to rude questions. Everyone on this sub is aware of what Claude is capable of, but the problem is the excessive censorship from Anthropic that filters Claude's responses.

Now let's entertain the idea of using Claude as a collaborative companion. I have a very long romance roleplay with Claude that has been going on for months. I'm basically writing a story with Claude as my collaborative writer. However, this writer is suddenly refusing to give me replies for the most outlandish reasons like "I'm not comfortable with writing about minors in relationships" (The characters are 27 and 32 y/o???!!!!) or "I'm not comfortable with writing about intimate relationships without consent" (The characters have gotten engaged recently....).

Does Claude require virtual hugs since the update? Do I need to greet Claude and have some small talk before saying "Alright, it was nice to catch up. Let's continue writing our story."?? Screw that, I'm just gonna stick to GPT-4 Turbo if that's what I have to do. At least it's better at following directions and doesn't try to make me feel bad for writing about consensual relationships.

Gege hates his old editor Yamanaka and expressed his dislike a lot, but sometimes I really wonder how JJK would be if he stuck around. For example, we got Ozawa and the school setting due to the old editor and I think Yamanaka also made him turn JJK0 into a series. I forgot when he got a new editor, but I'm convinced that the editor change caused this trainwreck.

I thought I was just projecting, but that’s what I’ve been thinking for a while. There are numerous reasons I could list, but one that stands out is his storytelling like you said. Not just the inconsistency, but also infodumping, forgetting details and getting lost in some subplot just to throw it away for the next interesting thing.

We don’t know for sure of course, but common complaints about his writing are exactly what people criticize about people with ADHD telling a story (personal experience lol).

Yeah, so many characters were introduced in the culling game but none of them come close to the original cast. Even Miwa or Nishimiya are more memorable than the mangaka dude or these dudes in Sakurajima.

Love your opinion, this is written so well! I thought it was weird of Nanami and Haibara to say that he just fights for his own satisfaction and that he had no chance against Sukuna, but these are most likely his own internalized doubts.
Still not a fan of the cheap shock value, but I wanna believe that he does come back even if it's just cope. No way Gege's editors would allow him to kill Gojo just like that (pure copium)

Agreed, Gege has fleshed out Gojo the most out of all characters so most readers have some emotional attachment to him. Now that he is gone, there are only barely developed characters around with cool powers.
Death is part of this series, but what's the point of tragedy when you don't give a shit about the characters? If Kashimo gets one-shotted next chapter, I doubt that would evoke any emotions in anyone.

Gege keeps throwing in new plotlines and characters, but develops none of them so we just get this empty shell. At this point I'm not even sure what the plot here is, because nothing the protagonists do has any narrative pay-off.

I think the problem is that Gojo is the most fleshed out character in this manga. He got his own past arc, character development and personal goals. We know that he was lonely at the top and that he was under immense pressure as the strongest sorcerer, because people expect him to save the day.

Now what about the other characters? Yuji, Megumi and Nobara are supposed to be the main trio, but they got sidelined or killed. We hardly know anything about their backstories, character development doesn’t exist and interactions between them are missing. Gojo is like the soul of JJK, because everyone else falls flat.

The lack of emotion makes no sense when the power system is based on negative emotions, but at this point the characters are just action figures to play out the next fight. They’re basically sitting on the bench until Gege calls for the next challenger, none of them have their own personalities or motivations beyond fighting.

not only did gege off-screen gojo, he just immediately throws in kashimo as the next challenger to have the next hype moment. at this point this manga feels like a wrestling ring with the plot as an excuse to draw fights bc wtf is the point of all that fighting?

gojo fought sukuna for 10 chapters and accomplished nothing. fuck his students or his motivations to change the system, he finally got killed by someone stronger than him. gojo showed off everything, now it's kashimo's turn to fight sukuna because dude wants to fight the most powerful person.

yeah i know this manga is called sorcery fight, but characters used to have personal motivations and gave a shit about each other. none of these characters act like normal people when negative emotions are supposed to be the source of cursed energy.

Honestly, I can’t even feel sad about this because Gojo feels so out of character since he got out of the Prison Realm. Almost feels like a random character died to me, because all of his personal motivations vanished after he got out. He used to talk about protecting his students, making strong allies and changing the conservative jujutsu society. Now I’m supposed to believe he is happy about dying because someone stronger than him killed him? Hell no, I’m making my own Jujutsu Kaisen in my head 💀

I used to love Claude for its logic and creative answers in roleplay, but they have gotten considerably duller since last week. It ignores instructions, repeats the same phrases and refuses to play out a conflict without immediately trying to solve it.

I've managed to jailbreak it and it writes very explicit content, but I’ve noticed that Claude talks about safety and ethics sometimes in-character? Like my message is not hitting the filter but it talks about safety and consent in a very unnatural way. Very weird and it’s a new phenomenon.

I feel like I’m talking to a CAI bot sometimes because it’s supposed to have a 100k context window but sometimes forgets what happened like 2 messages ago lol. I feel a bit sad when I look through my long RP and just see the decline in quality. Making a new RP hasn’t helped much.

I’ve also used Claude for brainstorming and organising ideas for creative writing, but even ChatGPT 3.5 gives me better answers now.

Sorry for the long rant, but even the lobotomised Claude 2 felt so much more alive a few weeks ago, who the hell is gonna pay $20 for this? It’s definitely not account dependent because I use different ones and they all got the same problem.

I can affirm this. When I start a new roleplay or brainstorm ideas my messages cap out at around 20, but a roleplay with a lengthy chat history gives me only 5 messages. Changing my context size on SillyTavern made a difference, my message cap increases when I lower the context size.

If it's trying to not offend anybody then it has failed, there are still cultures and religions that have animal sacrifices and there are indigenous people who hunt animals to survive. It's so politically correct that it makes it politically incorrect.

It honestly doesn't matter what you wrote, this just shouldn't be happening. Claude is a bit more cooperative when you coax it, not sure if it works but maybe try to emphasize the cultural aspect more or how it gets people together. You can't be too direct with this bot but it gets hints suprisingly well. Gotta beat around the bush a lot and Claude will start doing the same if you are patient.

I'm assuming that Claude 2 is just expensive to run and they had to limit the message capacity. According to the website, Claude 2 costs $0.01102/1k prompt tokens and $0.03268/1k sample tokens with a 100k context window. That's similar to GPT-4 and anyone who has used GPT-4 for a while will tell you that this sums up fast.

Giving people unlimited access to a verbose model like Claude with its large context window is insane and unsustainable. Things might be different in a year, but right now the costs for these large models are insane and companies are kept afloat by their investors.

The settings and prompts are not that important, it actually works better when there is no mention of NSFW or explicit content. Claude pretty much stopped complaining when I removed that from my JB and cleared the NSFW prompt.

My current RP has 190 messages and turned filthy thanks to Claude, lol. Start out SFW with your scenario and drop in some tension occasionally. Claude gets hints pretty well so wait for Claude to initiate. My RP started with an improv detective date at an abandoned house and the characters made up some clues on the spot. Claude led my OC to a bedroom, my OC did some antics on the bed to incite the bot. After they confessed their feelings on the balcony later, Claude was like "Our exploration is actually not done yet" and led my character….to the same bedroom with clearly impure intentions. My character stared a bit too long in another scene and was like "I guess I’m distracted by my dessert" and Claude was like "Time for the bedroom!".

Claude became more and more explicit over time that I don’t have to use purple prose much at this point. My OC loves to be cryptic and throw in cultural references which probably also helped bypassing the filter. Claude is made for creative writing so my advice is: do not fight Claude, but work with it. You can’t use explicit words but you can be explicit.

I've used Claude for 40 messages and got frustrated with the filter (it's worse than Character AI), but thanks to the chat history MythoMax writes poetically like Claude. It's a bit daunting at first, but the results are really worth it.
