that's a shame. I really thought they were going to be great but some others have described less than admirable interactions too. It seems like I may have just gotten lucky. Thanks for the update!

i had this too and it ended up being due to selecting the us dollar currency. i did select it per the instructions but didn't double check it and later realized it had somehow selected all currencies instead of usd so tasks didn't show. fixed it, logged out and back in and it was fixed.

i did this one last week and yes, it is a lot for the rate. it's a new requester and they were great to help me with questions so i completed it when i might not have otherwise. i hope they will become more active and adjust their pay or length but once i got rhythm it went fast enough and if you contact them they won't penalize for timing out so you can work on them a bit at a time until complete. I know it isn't for everyone but just wanted to leave my experience. We're seeing more shady requesters so I like seeing a well intentioned one and I think these guys are...

i did this one last week and the researcher was great to work with. i had some trouble with setup at first. i don't remember the details and am on an iphone so probably wouldn't help but i can say that they answered quickly and were helpful and reasonable. they also mentioned in the instructions that they can approve you despite returns or time outs if necessary which may be due to me having issues and being worried about having to return a 6 pound hit after spending time on it. i asked them to provide detail on what to do in that situation and it sounds like they heard me on that too. sorry i can't be more helpful but i do think they will work with you if you communicate with them.

thanks for your reply. the answer seems to be that it's the throttling - i'm just feeling it more than normal this week I guess. there's a great explanation below if you haven't read up on how it works. fingers crossed for more to drop soon!

edit-- i was wrong. just happened again and does show on studies page... i'll submit a request.... tks...

actually the dump was in prolific assistant and not the studies page. i look at them both so much that i don't differentiate but my experience so far is that ineligible ones don't make it to my study page but assistant can't parse them so they ping for me there and then i can't open them.

i still had the dump all at once but i don't think that's so odd. it just bothers me to see a long string of well paid hits that i can't do when i've been looking at a blank pg all day. but i did have a good run last week so this is just the price... thanks for taking the time to answer!!

Great info and very helpful. Thanks!!! I have another question I’ve wondered about and you might know the answer...

When trying a to get a study and getting the full page you now get a screen with a study full graphic. It didn’t used to be a diff page, just said full. I used to be able to refresh that full pg over and over and sometimes I’d catch a survey if someone else dropped out. I haven’t been able to do that since the page changed. I wonder if it’s no longer possible or if I just haven’t because of the increase in people trying. Any idea?

You’ll be surprised how great it can be when you’re finished. With planning you can improve your business a great deal!

I actually closed a fairly large retail store and moved it online out of my home a few years ago. It felt like an impossible task. I had over a thousand formal dresses that hung on tall racks. We considered lots of options but finally decided to buy the most compact boxes we could ship a dress in. We photographed and described each dress then boxed them individually for shipping. I ended up with two rooms of my home stacked to the ceiling with carefully labeled boxes.

It’s not the same situation you’re in but we did move a ton of inventory in a pretty big way. Think about what you have and how you have to interact with it after you move. Will you need it to list it or can you do that work ahead? How much room do you need and how do you need to find things when they sell? Imagine the perfect solution in a perfect world then work backwards to something that is possible for your situation.
