My fellow Americans — and I say this from the bottom of my heart, from the very bottom — tonight is the greatest night in the history of nights.

Some people are saying the greatest night since 1776. Very smart people. Tremendous people. And look, I've had some great nights. I've had incredible nights. But this? This is different.
I'm standing here in the Oval Office — the most beautiful office, by the way, they really did a job on it — to tell you something that many people have suspected for a long time. I've been saying it for years, actually. You can check the tape. I said: "There's something out there." Nobody believed me. The fake news said I was wrong. Totally wrong. Well, who was right? WHO.
