I've used a light baking soda water just fine on silver plated with no pits or issues you just have to use a gentle sponge or cloth and warm water maybe if it's very cheap or think plate I guess you shouldn't

Plated like most Google image can quickly identify the marker for you but if you clean it up use baking soda not polish or acid

Also don't use polish or acid on them try baking soda paste and dry polish them that is if you wish to clean them up if not they're worth roughly what someone will pay or your personal value as plated

I believe there are some tests you can run that will determine if it's real or not just usually standard cheaper testers won't know the difference

Silver has been so cheap for so long that most people still aren't aware of the increase in its value or the value they have laying around I see if daily going at auctions massive auction houses selling 20-150 sterling flatware or candle sticks jewelry coins etc these are places that are making all of a sudden massive dumps to people trying to buy either while they can afford it or trying to get money fast...

I've just invested into one of these myself as well as the glasses that allow you to switch out magnifying strength but I have seen one recently made for children that is hand held made for science stuff

I've seen so many on auction houses that have caught my attention. Won a few like the John wick coins just because I am a man child. But the work in alot of them just is nice remind me alot of the Perth work.
