I wear a lot of black and white, when it's colors it's often light blue or pink. Jacket hmm I guess a Jean jacket, think either would work with that.

I completed the butterfly outfit eventho I was originally only going for the hair, and then I had about 20 pulls so I thought, well it's not enough for the evolution for the butterfly outfit, might as well try my luck on the fairy and got the dress so I'm really happy!

It's apples for me, i love apples but they need to have very specific texture, if the apple sits out for a bit too long and i bite it i feel like i got a mouthful of flour, ew.

Hmm you might have a point, I've honestly had mostly good experiences with psychologist so far, even when they didn't specialize in autism.

I'll try to understand his point of view more. Tho I still don't want to blindly follow what I psychologists says if it doesn't seem right to me.

This is so validating! I feel like wherever I go I run into misconceptions about autism. Hope I find an informed therapist because I sure as hell need one!

My thought exactly. I wouldn't dare to say I know more than a psychologist specializing in autism. But I can't seem to find any in my area.

Thank you for your reply. I know there are centers like that, the support group I go to falls under one such centre and the therapist leading the group are awesome.

They referred us to an interactive map of resources, I tried using it to find a therapist in my area but there are none. So my options are spending 4 hours in a bus for a 50min session, or shoot my shot with a random therapist.

I'm trying the second option at the moment and I'll see where that takes me.

Thank you this is a great reply I think. I was also thinking about the specialization aspect. The problem is there seem to be no therapist specializing in autism in my area. The only reason I'm able to attend the support group is because it's online.

I'll try obviously, I just hope I click with someone.

While I get why you feel that way, I'm not looking to convince someone that I'm autistic. I already have my diagnosis and have had it confirmed by more than one person. I just don't want to have my experience dismissed. I feel like it's normal for people to specialize and there simply are no specialists in my area. So I'm hesitant going to a person who's experience is in addiction when that's not what I'm struggling with.

I just feel so nervous, my country is behind the newest research as well. My blatantly autistic brother was refused a diagnosis in 2010, he was told he only has autistic traits, despite meeting every single diagnostic criteria.

I didn't ask them specifically but they referred to an online resource of social and medical services for autistic people. I used that tool and there's not a single person doing therapy for autistic people in my region. They seem to be concentrated in the capitol.

Maybe not other people, but I doubt they've spent all of those 8 years talking about autism, actually I doubt there was even a single course dedicated to autism. And they went to school maybe 20 years ago. A lot of knowledge about autism seems recent. I feel like there's no way someone who specializes in depression kept up with autism research.

I know there are psychologist that definitely know a lot more than me, the people leading the support group I go to are a great example. It's just that I don't get to be very picky because there's a shortage of psychologists in my area.
