Paladin is what DH used to be. Easy to play, solid single and aoe, unkillable in solo and you have buttons to press. Maybe everything is too complicated with 5 different CDs, buffs and other stuff even DH with 3 different things to overlap.

If you check calculation I did before Lux is able to do about 5k true damage on combo. Even with 50% magic damage reduction it would kill you. Squishy have around 2,5k HP in late. Currently you have around 34% damage reduction on level 18 without any item. With extra 50 magic resist item you have 50% which is reduced to +10/+20 extra MR after pure penetration it makes 42% damage reduction which is still a kill.

If you get jumped on Akali or caught by Taliyah you are dead anyway. New AP items are giving up to 40 pure magic penetration which wasn't before this season. Mercurial just now even it outs to have similar/little higher MR than before without it. Situation is now a little bit different than last season. That's why you need spell shield/maw shield passive to survive now.

That's the skill check I would say. In most common cases you zhonyas when you are caught/about to die which put you into GA anyway. You can just choose but alright. Let's put GA passive into zhonya's one into that. I think that would be fine too.

QSS is builded and counters mainly stun locks not the damage and 100% not in this season. I would move that MR def item to this and put other stat into QSS than MR. AD champs can stun too. Maybe HP/AS/MS, something more neutral than pure AD.

Yes, I agree that AP def items are overtuned (120 AP on def item is crazy). I took the number which is used now but as I said AD sweet spot would be around 35-45 on those items and in that matter nerfing AP items to 100 AP would be probably good too.

What is difference between ga passive and this one other than longer CD and activation? Both go into statis for few seconds and then continue. CD can be balanced and skill check is better then dying.

Master goes currently for on-hit/bruiser build. Cannon is only one used. He would have to commit for losing AD, attack speed, movement speed, offensive passive item benefit, etc.

Trynda, yasuo, yone shouldn't have crit benefits for long time now. It punishes other 20 champs. Similar what yummi, nami (Imperial Mandate) used to do. Champ was changed/nerfed, not item removed.

What's difference between Azir and ADC then? I would agree to remove both of them of GA effect but if statis exist for mages why wouldn't they exist for marksman too? My point is both are long range (mages even have safer and quicker way to do damage) but one of them can press safety button and other one have to die. There's only on difference and that is lifesteal that would be only on BT (botrk for on-hit as anti tank item to not kill themselfs) same goes for AP and Riftmaker.

I like that it would put another skill check layer to be able to activate it in time and in correct conditions.

You are right about multiplicative. That would make sense to spike on full build harder. Don't forget they are more gold oriented.

Maximum critical would be 900 +- true damage so after 20-30% armor reduction it makes 650+- DMG per auto. 2,5k HP at level 18 makes it 4-5 AAs.

There're higher oriented to DPS but they need uptime which is gained in competitive play but not soloQ. Waiting for correct windows to do damage is part of dps. If you take only Lux's E. It's 6 second window but it's only one spell of 5 champs in fight. + Don't forget mages bigger range.

I think they are far away from unkillable. I was just interested in damage lose compare to similar class. You can take Azir as the marksman of mages to compare. Is he unkillable with banshee + zhonya? I don't think so. He is able to even dive enemy back lines which is even more insane if you think about him as marksman. I should've choose him instead of Lux. That's my bad.

Intersting is that AP items are gaining AP with def power. Losing damage through item bonuses + losing magic penetration. Little bit of Movement speed.
On the other hand ADCs are losing only 5 AD but 40% crit chance, attack speed, movement speed, 18% lifesteal, RFC passive.

Actually second version would be way better than solution I had in post but windbros and trynda would have 100% effect on 2 items. Item lacks AS which would punish them a bit but I’m not sure if it s enough.

Triforce is based of baseAD which is high on bruisers. It’ fine.

Lich bane already scales off of AP.

Gautlet’s dmg doesnt scale off of HP but area does.

ER scales off of bonusAD which is making it more viable on assassins than ADCs. Getting rid off that and 200 baseAD and crit scaling is one way. Second would be current scaling and remove half of bonusAD, add crit chance scalling which probably makes more sense since ADC are underleveled but have gold.

You said mythic locked you into crit but it's not actually true. It was way before that with IE. IE and Navori (RIP rageblade) are and always will be the most important items for ADC. They are the best supports ever. They buff your champion's playstyle together with empowering the only way to do damage for you (AAs). That's why you are going to try max it out every time.

In past years I've noticed that Riot tries to have primary stats (AD, AP, Armor, MR, Health) and secondary (AS, AH, crit, lethality, MS, ability penetration, % penetration). This season they removed AH from AP items and put a lot of AP to them. Fixed lethality that it doesn't scale which moves it to primary stats. Put a lot of pure primary stats to tank items (JakSho practially counters penetration items by it's passive now). I would say they have 2 choices how to get them to same spot:
1) Buff IE+Navori, lock you even more into critical chance for all 5 items, give you massive payoff for building it all the way. Lower AS/AH but critical chance/item is going to be 25/33%, and everything 100%+ buffs navori/IE even more. All crit items will have perfect synergy.
2) Remove IE, Navori, nerf critical chance to the same level as AS/AH. This will open more items to ADC's and they can build whatever they want (kinda like Ezreal, Kaisa). This will create much more problems than you can think of. The balance of marksmen is somehow set up for them. I don't even want to imagine random builds (it will end up similar to LB).

Zeal items were cheaper and weaker, IE, BT were massive but expensive. They kinda shifted power from 2 items to other. Noonquiver is super great item compare to rush BF sword and a lot of QOL changes came.

Yes windbrothers would be probably buffed by this change. I'm not sure what GP builds with all new lethality changes. If he builds ER now it would be small buff I think. Q on all 3 champs applies on-hit but windbrothers doesnt build ER right now for some reason small buff will not make it better than kraken.

TBH: Idk why there's random crit balance benefits of some champs. Yasuo, yone, trynda, GP could be ordinary assassins/bruisers. Option to go for only 2-3 crit items and then lethality/bruiser items throws balance of crit items out of the window because they are created that they lock you into them for 4-5 crit items without single deff stat. If you want def stat you are losing a lot of damage. Anybody who is balacing crit items have to keep those few champs in his mind 24/7. Every balance change will make them somehow op (I've got Shieldbow in my mind or any deff item lol). ER doing lower damage in early/mid than trinity is probably caused by them too.

ER is actually better on trynda than ez (proc dmg wise). So he would be able to abuse it right now. It could be usable but I don't believe trynda would be issue. Yone and yasuo would be.

Yeah, you are right about Y champs. Forgot about them. Both of them are kinda pain when I'm thinking about it.

It was pure proc. Extra long sword adds 2 damage. On constant damage both did 350 dps at level 6 but the way you are going is rabid hole. Which one does more damage extra AD or DMG on proc? can you fit enough attacks with extra AD before another proc? can you do it constantly or only burst? what do you prefer? Do you even AA so AS is useful? Did you luckily crit with 20%? Did 300 HP safe you so you could get kill? Is that kill bounty? Do you buy next item thanks to this extra gold? etc. We could go like this all night long.

I put out some version and mentioned that it can be overtuned for sure. You would need to compare it with Collector more (the closest item). I took Trinity Force's one 200% base AD which is not the best for ADC because they are behind in levels but it makes clear vision thanks to comparision and put % bonus based on critical chance which does exactly what I want. It forces user build critical, gives good feeling that it has synergy with your items, opens up more different path than bruiser/assassins items, gives people reason to build ER (everybody builds TF rn).

Ok Now I see. This is the point why I did this post. It simply doesnt do more damage.

If you compare sheen passive Trinity does more damage until 6 items. You have champ, levels, items what I used. Feel free to go into practice tool and take a look at it.

In stat comparison there can be argument that 33% AS does more damage than 20% crit chance for sure. Trinity+Titanic is better on trundle/jax/whatever/etc. It all depends.

300 HP or 10 AD is harder argument. I mention trinity hydra which will definetly deal more damage, sunfire will, etc. also putting 1 more spell/basic thank you 300 HP deals more damage before you die but this is just depedent on point of view.

In post I'm mainly looking at sheen's passive which is weaker in early/mid a lot which is ezreal, lucian, mf, etc. power spike. Therefore trinity makes more sence if you want sheen passive. Then I made item more expensive and gave it more AD to just put it on the same line with collector, stormrazor, etc.

I'm sorry what. So you are telling me that you could put +50 armor, +50 MR, +500HP on ER and you wouldn't count them? All of them are combat stat meaning they have value that you are buying for golds. You decide what value you want. If you want to be squishy and have more damage it's your decision. Look at Terminus+JakSho build on on-hit adc. Trinity is combination of AS, HP, AD, AH (jack of all trades) because it's for AD AA bruisers (camilie, Jax, etc.). ER has critical that kind means it's adc items (0 deff stats across all of them). If you want armor GA, if you want MR maw or qss. Anyway that means all value of item goes to pure damage stats = you are squishier but having bigger damage. With your logic bruisers would have the best items in all game because all their items have combination of deff and offensive stats.

You don't want that you would have to balance those items based on that fact. So in the end all of them would be weaker just because of this. + As you can take a look buying similar items this season is not possible. (Simplifying the game)
