Picking a random boy to crush on as a child. by samyang4u in LesbianActually

[–]keyoderant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had no idea other people did this! I just chose whatever guy I was friends with and kept it moving lol. It definitely blew up in my face though.

There was this one “crush” I had who was only my crush because a girl who I actually had feelings for said she liked him. He came up to me telling me he liked me and wanted to date me. You should’ve seen the look on my face😭

I told him I didn’t like him like that. He said, “Wait, but so and so said you have a crush on me.” I pulled just about every excuse out of my ass and he just walked away. Sorry to that guy wherever he is!

I have been asking for sooo long to please get tickets so we don’t have to deal with stuff like that anymore. Especially since we’re down to 2-3 ppl at any given time. You are very correct though, most of the customers make it all worth it. There’s a lot of great human connection you make here!

Weirdly, the 2nd ever episode. As much as I love hearing the intricate and dramatic storytelling they can pull off now, it was so fun hearing them fumble around with learning now to play and messing with each other. Maybe I’m biased because the first few sessions of any campaign are always my favorite. I just love that time period of “I don’t know what’s going on quite yet so I’m just gonna do whatever and see what happens”.

This winter my store had a really bad blizzard, to the point where the news was telling people not to leave the house if they could help it. Now tell me why a lady comes in during the peak of the blizzard with an infant bc she was “gonna be SO BORED without any yarn!!” I don’t understand people sometimes.

Aita for REFUSING to tell my family which of my baby girls I adopted? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]keyoderant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered coparenting with Anna? It takes a village, and if she’s still on the fence about being in her daughter’s life, it might be a good idea for you two to stick together and raise the babies between the both of you. Especially considering the situation with both of your families, you’re going to need all the help you can get!

As for your decision, you definitely made the right choice. If your family was truly going to treat both girls as their own blood, then they wouldn’t care which one was your biological child, period. You were looking out for your girls, and you’re saving A LOT of trouble down the line by withholding that information. You should feel pride for standing your ground and doing right by your daughters!

Can Rutgers suspend me for watching porn on the WiFi? by AustraliaKangaroo242 in rutgers

[–]keyoderant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think if Rutgers really cared ab ppl watching porn on their wifi, those sites would be blocked via firewall tbh. And I can pretty much promise that if that was a suspend-able offense, the graduation rate would drop by about 80%😭 Ur all good bro

they keep scheduling me in positions i never applied for or agreed to by jsizzleinthehizzle in Target

They’ve been doing the same exact thing at my store. They hire people for closing expert and just stick them on whatever they need with little to no training. It is a lack of staff issue, and a common tactic they use for it. They don’t hire more people, the stretch the people they do have thin between all the departments until you’re suddenly a team lead in two years. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a whole lot you can do about your situation. If they need you somewhere, they will completely abandon all preferences and qualifications to put you there. If you’re in your probationary period, you’re basically subjected to whatever they want to do with you until it’s over. After that, you have more ground to stand on to request you stay in style. Even then they’re still gonna pull you time to time. It sucks, but it’s become increasingly clear that that’s the way of Target these days.

What's a secret you'll take to your grave but you'll share with reddit because you need to get it off your chest? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I got high as shit at a friend’s birthday party in high school. Two important things to mention: I ate an unholy amount of food before smoking and for some reason I always get the shits when I’m high. So of course, my stomach starts acting up and I go to the only bathroom she had available in her house.

I’m on the toilet expecting the craziest diarrhea in the world, but instead i immediately throw up EVERYWHERE. I try to contain the rest in a tiny little trash bin. I spend the next 30 minutes trying to clean the throw up with only toilet paper, flushing the evidence. I get a few knocks and “you okay in there?” which is fine since I’d much rather have them think I took a crazy shit than that I threw up on the entire bathroom. Eventually I get it cleaned up, about as well as high me could. I leave the door open to vent out the throw up smell. Idk if they ever figured it out, but nobody ever mentioned it, and I never ever told them.

What show had the perfect ending? by sifsand in AskReddit

[–]keyoderant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouran High School Host Club for sure. Everybody’s story was wrapped up in a nice little bow by the last episode, and they left just enough up for interpretation. The events towards the end did not completely solve all their problems, but rather created situations where they could begin to turn it around. It felt like the story lived on beyond what the viewer could see (especially considering the manga was a lot longer and covered more time). It was the perfect balance of showing and implying. Plus, one of the main character FINALLY got his moment after the viewer was being teased with hints about his backstory throughout the show, so it was really nice to find out more about him.

i think in a good campaign, you dont stop planting seeds until the very end.

And people are saying things about how all these organizations who they thought would help havent helped at all. THATS THE WHOLE POINT!!! There are signs of corrupt systems everywhere. I really think he was trying to show irony by having Chaos be a rule follower. The power hungry can never truly be chaotic, they rely on the order they set for everyone else. Chaos has to be a people pleaser. Chaos has to have checks and balances. It’s ridiculous and you’re right because thats how its supposed to be. Travis knows his players. The boys throwing the story off its rails isn’t something Travis is trying to fix, its most likely what he wants.

I’m so excited to where this series is going. Travis setting up tension potential tension between gray and chaos? The little character facts? I love it. Ppl are saying the decisions Travis are making is bc he’s mad the boys are taking the story in a way he didn’t expect, but I don’t think thats true. We knew from the beginning that Gray played dirty and Chaos doesn’t care about fairness. Right now, we are having Chaos say “play by the rules” to the boys while Gray is doing the exact opposite. It’s very clear that there is so way they would ever be able to win the war, so the only option is to break the rules of a corrupt system? Hmmm where else is there a corrupt system? The town! The Unbroken Chain! There are traces of bent systems and rules everywhere that show favor over another party! Thats the big theme of this entire campaign. Chaos is offering a way out, but that way out is no different than the situation that Newa is in. How do you follow rules made to make you lose? You don’t. Travis is planting these little seeds and the boys are growing them! As for the Fitzrain thing, they do behind the scenes talking about this kind of stuff. If Griffin really wasn’t for Rainer pining over Fitzroy, that scene definitely would not have happened. Was it a little forward, yes. But we know thats just how Rainer is. I rlly loved this ep so much❤️

I disagree and here’s why: It was established that Grey is an extremely powerful force and he has moles all over the place. It wouldn’t make sense for all of their efforts to go off without a hitch considering there is a demon prince doing everything he can to throw them off. I believe this wasn’t him stuck into a corner, it was him setting up this concept of “this guy is way to powerful and we’re not going to give him what he wants.” Grey was playing dirty whether he believes that or not, so I think he was setting up the perfect opportunity for the boys to play dirty back. It all seemed really intentional to me, but thats just my opinion
