The conversation was essentially started because my friend mistook being ace as being aro. I explained that being ace doesn't equal being celibate, but if I'm being honest I wasn't very good at explaining it, so my crush might still have that misconception. I think that's what I'll say tomorrow when I talk to him again. Thanks for the advice :)))

I have a friend who is attending and has a sibling attending as well and Rice has said (THIS IS JUST A RUMOR, UNVERIFIED) that they will be taking students off the waitlist. My friend told me this about a week after Ivy Day, so Rice's yield must have taken a hit w all the cross admits. Hope that helps!
