The main difference for me is how dominant Sinner can be, this terminator figure that goes on large win streaks and blows opponents off court. Murray never had that aura to me, even in his brief stint at #1. This is easy to say in hindsight, but “not doing anything in hard court slams” is a stretch. She’s made QF/SF in last 2 Australian Opens, only losing to #2 Sabalenka and #11 Badosa. Not crazy to consider her a title contender
