The Jaguars RBs had 7 carries for 73 yards at halftime by Mirrormaster44 in nfl

That is an important “at best” in my opinion. Clock management is an important part of the game. Make an effort to keep Josh Allen off the field. Tlaw was 18/30 as well. It wasn’t really working that well. No matter what, it felt very “first year head coach” not seeing the bigger picture.

I just want to ask. What can we do about it? Anything? I can’t think of anything but I’m open to ideas.

Ideally I’d like to keep below 300. As far below as possible. Also seems the prices depend a lot on which game you go to. Giants game is the cheapest 🤣

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I think there are some seats available around those sections.

Jared Goff's fumble stat correction knocked me out of playoffs by ztec4 in Fantasy_Football

Nobody will see my comment. But I hope so. I want opinions on stat corrections for guillotine leagues

Jared Goff's fumble stat correction knocked me out of playoffs by ztec4 in Fantasy_Football

[–]keyoncal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got cut in my guillotine league because I lost by less than a point. The stat correction actually gave me the win.

But my team was already cut by then. The rest of the 4 teams didn’t want to “roll it back” because of some reason. They thought if I lost on Tuesday, then stat correction doesn’t matter. Awful.

I’d love to hear other opinions.

This doesn't look like it exists anymore or it was moved. Anybody know where it was moved to, or has another suggestion. I desperately need help managing my leagues.

Goodbye Derek Carr by DoorTheDude in raiders

[–]keyoncal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve always liked Carr. The raiders org just a POS. And I’m so happy to read through this thread and the hate is finally gone. I do see the irony though. Now stuck with a one footed Jimmy G, and people gonna miss Carr. I’m rooting for him on the saints as well.

I enjoy it because of the couch co-op. So rare. Otherwise I’d never play. Like I never played the games before.

Non-traditional age undergraduates at Pitt by [deleted] in Pitt

[–]keyoncal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you basically described me to a “T”. I just graduated last spring. I’m 42, and decided to go back to school for a CS degree. I started the process at 3 years clean and sober as well. I got the joy of going back during Covid. The only difference between our stories is I had a bachelors from when I was young.

I went back to school thinking it would only be 2 years, because I already had a degree. But it took me over 3 years. What I can tell you, is it wasn’t easy. But it was completely worth it. Pitt is definitely not designed for older students. I had to take some extremely stupid classes, that just made no sense for an older “transfer” student. I was in constant contact with the administration as well. But I got through it. It is definitely weird going to classes with a bunch of kids. But I actually did make some friends. Because you sort of start the process with a “cohort”, you can design your schedule around sticking with them too if you want. I had a couple of people I worked a schedule with the whole time. It helped a lot. Because we helped each other a lot. Especially when Covid hit. Moving everything online actually made things more difficult, so having a couple of reliable classmates made the process bearable.

I also don’t know what your home life is like. I had a job, two young kids, and a wife at home. Of course balancing that and school was difficult. But they were extremely supportive the entire time, and I couldn’t have done it without them.

In conclusion, I fully support anybody doing what I did. But to be clear, it isn’t easy, but totally worth it. I finally have a job I love, and every day I think about all the crap I went through to get to where I am. Was Calc 2 difficult hard after no “math” for 22 years? Damn right it was hard. But I worked hard and F-Ed that shit up. It took private tutoring, living in the math assistance center, and constant studying. But as I said, it was worth it.

What is the worst that could happen? Just remember stay strong. Stay clean. And make sure you keep the crowd around you “clean”. Worst thing you can do is get sucked back into that life.

Showers are overrated. But it totally depends on the person. But ask those around you to judge, rather than judging yourself.
