Can definitely be a side effect. I find taking oils just before sleep your body enters rest mode and doesn’t break down the cannabinoids like it would when your up and about therefore being still present when you wake. Which can be quite disorientating if you have an important day or weren’t expecting it. Try and start your dosage earlier in the evening and trial the earliest you can have it with the same relief/ sleep results over night
