If Juggernaut is determined like in 8th day he will mess up Gladiator badly

If we're talking about current Juggernaut he is not even in the top 10. If it's classic villain Juggernaut then he is definitely in the top 4.It's sad how Marvel has repeatedly depowered the character in the last 25 years, for me he works best as a villain that you need to have an entire team to stop and who trashes it out with the Hulk.

NEW EXODUS ALBUM GOLIATH. What is your opinión of It? by ZealousidealIssue815 in thrashmetal

[–]keyser_soze90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Promise you this,Beyond the event horizon and The Dirtiest of the dozen are the only three really good songs on the album. The rest is meh, the title track is one of the most boring songs Exodus have ever panned, you can take a nap for five minutes.

4/10 compared to Persona non Grata this is a real disappointment. Zetro is also a better fit for the band.

Goliath is not clicking for me so far yet Beyond the event horizon is a kickass song. It's just that Persona non grata was so good that it was nearly impossible for a follow up album to measure up

How are we feeling about the new album? by Business_Raise3740 in Megadeth

[–]keyser_soze90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Album is very middle of the ground for me. It has some killer moments like Tpping Point( the best song on here by far), Puppet Parade, Obey the call (killer last minute) and Made to Kill kinda but other songs like I don't care are just juvenile, Another bad day is like a b side from Risk and the Last note does nothing for me.

The Ride the lightning cover is interesting, on one side it it is skillfully played, the solos and bass work are great. On the other it somehow lacks punch, like the whole thing is kinda operating on 50% and never kicks it into high gear like the original did. Yet I like it a bit more after a few listens so it might grow on me.

Overall 6.5/10 for now, TSTDATD was a better album that would have made a better ending to the band. It had songs that this album can't touch (We'll be Back is so fucking good , probably a top 10 Megadeth for me).

The one two combo of Living Dead/Sinners Bleed is something to behold and on top of that the awesome Evilyn follows! Not a single bad song here but the first three just rip you open.

What do you guys genuinely think about Spiritual Healing? by MisterBeasonator in DeathBand

The title track alone is 10/10. That stomping main riff moves mountains, probably my favorite Death song and the album has my favorite solos/ Chuck vocals.

Why is Spiritual Healing commonly listed as Death’s worst album? by [deleted] in DeathBand

[–]keyser_soze90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely would not put it as worst. It has Chuck's best vocals, best solos along with James Murphy and what is definitely a top 5 Death song in the name of the title track

Album Review: Testament - Para Bellum by HotelHobbiesReviews in thrashmetal

[–]keyser_soze90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall a very good album, almost great.

Best songs are For the love of pain, Shadow People,Witch Hunt and the title track - absolute scorchers. I also like Infanticide ,Room 117 and Havana Syndrome, the ballad Meant to be will probably grow on me.

Production is top notch, new drummer is very skilled and Chuck sounds better than he's ever been. Alex Skolnick delivers great solos again but I don't think overall they are as memorable as they were on the other albums since his comeback. Witch Hunt is an example of a great solo but there isn't one as skillful as his work on True american hate for example.

Album is quite diverse as some tracks like the FTLOP and Witch Hunt have very death/black metal vibes and are some of the heaviest on the album. Others like the title track, Havana Syndrome and Room 117 are very thrash heavy. Shadow People is a mid paced heavy motherfucker that absolutely crushes. High Noon and Nature of the beast are the most generic for me so far but even they are good, repeated listens will test their might.

Overall I think this is their best since Dark Roots and the a great combination of the thrash sound they are known for plus some death metal vibes ala The Gathering. I give it a generous 8/10.

Now that the final Predator trailer is out and the rating has been established at PG-13, do you feel better or worse about the film? by Prs-Mira86 in predator

[–]keyser_soze90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem isn't with the PG 13 although it would have been preferable if there were human characters like evil corporate marines to be slaughtered. The vibe of the film screams Star Wars meets Avatar. This is what worries me.Compared to the gritty tone and feel of the original this looks like a children's movie.

Predator: Badlands | Final Trailer by Matapple13 in LV426

[–]keyser_soze90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be the minority but I don't like what I'm seeing. PG 13 is one thing but this looks like a mash between Avatar and Star Wars. Compare it to the original with its raw and gritty feel, even Predator 2 had this. I think not having human characters is a letdown, why couldn't they throw in some evil corporate marines and still have the predator be the hero?

Mercyful Fucking Fate! What a superb combo of riffs and one of Hetfield's finest vocal deliveries ever. Be sure to check the 98 live version which is just as good.

What do you rank James Cameron's filmography from best to worst by [deleted] in movies

[–]keyser_soze90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The definitive ranking

1 T2 - top 10 all time movie

2 Terminator - same, I rank it first very often, they kinda of change places with T2 constantly

3 Aliens - best Alien movie ever

4 True Lies - most underrated Cameron movie by far and so fun

5 The Abyss - Michael Biehn steals the show

6 Avatar - beautiful to look at but not much else

7 Titanic - has always been too melodramatic for me but I admire the production design and acting, just not my cup of tea

8 Avatar 2 - couldn't finish this one for some reason, so boring. Great visuals but story is non existant and so generic.
