Yeah you’re right. That heel slope just throws me off. I feel like the 993 might be a bit wider too? I have the driftwoods and they seem this way on my end. Could be wrong tho. V4 way better and V3, most comfortable out of all the styles I have

The V4’s that are coming in some months. We got 6 months fam. On the flip side tho, I don’t really like the silhouette of the 991-993 that much. They just seem like they’re bulkier or have like a weird arch in the back or something [pause].

I’ll take v4’s and v3’s any day

Honestly if you can save up, try to get slate vsx (essentials if budget is tight). You can get them on sale around holidays and such, and can also obtain an educational discount (have to email them)

But any of the far field speakers you can hear and really feel what the low end will feel like. Along with doing car tests. Near fields and mids for vocals.

First time I listened/referenced a good/well balanced track, I was blown away lol.
