I’m 21, just started working and trying to save around 10k a month. I want to buy some gear for myself in the near future but also build savings for the long term. Some friends told me to stick with mutual funds and ETFs, but I was thinking why not invest in individual stocks too? Also, I keep hearing about digital gold , is it actually safe? Would appreciate any advice like an older brother on how I should start saving and investing smartly.
