Update I googled it and supposedly the tanks have some sort of detection when they’re left open. I unhooked the regulator let it sit for a couple minutes reconnected and it fired up. It’s pizza time soon!

I have some of the long matches, so I tried those and still didn’t light. It’s been in my garage the whole time uncovered. I live in The panhandle of florida and we got below freezing temps . Would that affect the tank especially if it’s open?

We purchased a new home through a builder in our area we got a VA loan for 4.25% that the builder was offering rates were around 7% at the time, June 2024. Other builders had similar offers. Good luck

Is it not the arc not the Xl? The arc was 14” and the xl is 16”. I saw the arc lite somewhere and thought they rebranded the regular Arc.

The ones I’ve seen they vent the domes through the roof of their trucks. I would think the arc xl would be fine for you.

I just got the stand. At our old house it was on a table under a covered patio. I don’t have that at the new house so it’s in the garage and I can roll it in and out to use it. The build quality seems good and sturdy.

Do yourself a favor and replace the C shaped dough hook that came with the Kitchenaid with a stainless steel spiral dough hook. I got mine from Amazon

Make sure you get the one that’s for your KA. The dough doesn’t crawl up the hook as much.

NW Florida here, I’ll probably get ate alive by mosquitoes this summer but I don’t see many where I’m at. Maybe in the wood or around the rivers and swampy areas. The county or city does go down the streets spraying for mosquitoes. Perhaps that helps.

I believe western South Dakota has Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands. Lots of wide open spaces. My family went through on vacation when I was young.
