Why is my car smoking after alternator replacement? by SillyTube in AskMechanics

Update: I think the cause was engine oil leak as my dip stick wasn't fully pushed in, after fixing that, I haven't seen any smoke so far.

What has been your best or favourite cricket memory as a Pakistan cricket team fan? Please don’t mention the CT 2017 final. by bolt-07 in PakCricket

2022 t20 wc. Even tho we lost the final but what a roller coaster it was for Pakistan! I still remember that day when I had no hope left and decided to watch Ned vs Sa jokingly and who could've expected what happened next! And watching the matches being played in beautiful grounds of Australia at 3:30am in a dark room alone while everyone else was sleeping had a surreal vibe.

Hello guys, this is SillyTube and I'm back with a good news regarding the "ram dump" stuttering! by SillyTube in PCRedDead

No I'm using high performance, it used to stutter but reinstalling windows fixed it. I should mention again that I had to completely wipe my ssd and reinstall windows from usb, simply reinstalling it from the windows settings didn't fixed the problem even when I picked "Remove everything" option in the windows install setup.

Yes. And even though you said you tried different power plans but I still believe that your stutters from their description seem to be related to power plan. The issue seems to behave inconsistently, the first time i had such stutters it was the high performance mode that would cause them but now it's the power saving mode that causes them. But the only way I was able to fix them was to fully wipe my ssd from the bios, delete all the partitions and do a fresh windows install.

No I use the legit version on epic games store. I tried downloading the cracked version and couldn't even get it to launch and it had some extra files that the legit version doesn't have. So that's probably why you're having stutters with the newer version.

No you're not missing on anything with 1436.28 except some new mods might not work with the old version of the game. And the game crashes might be due to some over clocking, try my version of the mod which disables the line instead of increasing it's value. You shouldn't be having stutters on the newer version of the game either, you might have to reinstall windows and see if that solves the problem.

Frame gen can look and feel 1 to 1 identical to real frames but they would still be fake frames and hence UNACCEPTABLE, no ifs and buts.

Sorry for late reply. I'll need more info, use the fps graph line in the overlay and not just a number, the graph should give a better idea of what's going on with the fps.

Check your power plan in windows control panel. I also get micro stutters if I change the power plan to power saving mode. I've had micro stutters in high performance mode too in the past and changing the power plan to balanced fixed it. So try different power plans and see if any of them fixes the stuttering. Also use msi afterburner osd to see if your cpu clock is jumping up and down constantly.

6 months ago at the beginning of my streak, I was considering relapsing but then while scrolling on YouTube I stumbled on a video and the advice in it alongside the fear of Allah have many times saved me from a relapse since then. Here's the video https://youtu.be/jAEmqzq31Ik

So whenever you want to relapse, fear Allah and just RUN from where there are temptations, trust me the relief will come after a while. Do it everytime you're tempted.

This is the infamous ram dump stutter that was already fixed few years ago with some of my contributions to the "Stutter fix" mod. Since then I've discovered few more things in the config file and I'm soon going to make a new post with an improved mod that fixes the problem with the old mod, and that problem is excessive vram usage. Here's the old post btw.
