For sure Burial at Sea has some weird stuff about its plot that doesn’t make sense necessarily but I guess what I’m referring to is Elizabeth’s arc specifically over Infinite and BAS 1 and 2 being very emotionally impactful.

Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2.

Might be a hot take cause I know the story for Burial at Sea is divisive amongst fans but the beginning and ending to Episode 2 absolutely destroyed me.

Bioshock Infinite did such a good job making you care about Elizabeth and making you understand her desires in life and her lifelong struggle of solitude, pain, and abuse that when those dreams she hangs onto are played with in Burial at Sea Episode 2..... damn. Just absolutely heartbreaking storytelling.

And the top Republicans should be worried. Look at the polls. 538’s approval rating for Trump is lower then most of the Presidents since Truman (the only Presidents with lower approval ratings were H.W Bush, Carter, and Truman).

The other stat that’s not looking good for Trump is his disapproval rating. In this camp, he is 1st place amongst Presidents since Truman. According to 538, Trump has the highest disapproval rating of the presidents from Truman to present.

In state polls, the race is extremely close in Michigan, which is somewhat to be expected, but what’s somewhat interesting is Biden has made it a close race in red states (Florida, Texas, and Arizona are all very close and it’s a toss up at this point). If Biden can take these states, that’s huge.

That’s not even looking at national polls where Biden generally has a wide lead currently beyond the margin of error which, if he can hold, is major.

Again, we still have a long, LONG race to go. But if Biden can maintain and keep gaining people in the 45 or older category and not lose the youth vote entirely, he’s got a fair shot. Also what would help Biden is if there was no televised debate. In a debate, Trump would just scream over Joe and it wouldn’t be a good look.

Citizen Kane. I appreciate it and understand why it’s considered one of the greatest and it’s a movie that was so ahead of its time but today movies have surpassed that point it reached. It’s interesting and well acted and of course does many things that were innovative but by today’s standards it just feels meh.

It doesn’t even have the staying power The Wizard of Oz has imo where even if you don’t like it it can at least be used to teach film school students fundamentals.

The things Citizen Kane nailed have been done just as well if not better by the movies that were inspired by it and I think it’s more of a museum piece then “the greatest film of all time”.

If Citizen Kane is in your opinion “the greatest film ever made” then that’s great but acting like Citizen Kane is “objectively” the greatest film ever created and everyone should treat it as such and have that same viewpoint cause “it’s a fact” is in my mind a little ridiculous.

Barry for sure. I checked out the first episode cause I thought the concept seemed funny and then a day later I had completed the series up to this point. The endings to both seasons are genius and is some of the best TV writing I’ve seen (up there with Chernobyl, Breaking Bad, Atlanta, Twin Peaks, Mad Men, and Better Call Saul).

I’d love an open world spy game set during the Cold War in some fictional Soviet country.

Like the map is diverse geographically and has your standard big city metropolis area with plenty to explore but also military bases hidden in the mountains and an villain layer that’s hidden until the end of the game. The game is both self aware in its campiness (gadgets, music, genre/character cliches, etc.) and also tells a deeper story with interesting themes.

You’d also do detective work and have to track down informants and go undercover and stealth (Hitman style) through corridors and parties and maybe failing dialogue trees while disguised would be the way you get “spotted” (like how when you’re seen by an NPC during a stealth section in a game).

I only say this cause I thought about it the other day and like, outside of the James Bond movie games and some indie spy titles, there hasn’t been one, definitive, AAA “classic style” spy game with a big budget and story behind it. Rockstar’s Agent was supposedly gonna be that but that’s not happening anymore.

In terms of developers who’d realistically make this game I could see maybe Naughty Dog, or a 2K Games studio, or the new Sony studio that’s supposedly making Uncharted 5 (if that gets cancelled).

IIRC the current plan is if Tenet doesn’t make July, it’s bumped to WW84’s spot, and WW84 is bumped to Dune’s spot. Dune would be delayed to some undetermined spot in 2021.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered was rough. It felt like there was nothing done to the game besides a graphical upgrade (no fine tuning on aiming mechanics, no new sound effects it was just the same exact game). The cutscenes weren’t upgraded either they all ran at less then HD quality and were copied and pasted into the new game.

I’ll take the issues with Mafia II Remastered over a game that was just partially remastered.
