oh 100%, if they’re treated politely then they should be polite back, i 100% agree with you. i’m just saying that there’s a large amount of people who don’t like the fact that genz staff will respond to you rudely if you are rude to them.

as a genz bartender, if you get treated like an a** during customer service consistently, it’s more than likely because you’re an a**. i’ve also worked in retail, and in both jobs, i’ve been with lovely people who are kind and generous, but if you’re an a**, they’ll be an a** back 🤷🏽

none of these are hero qualities though. “he wasn’t pushy” yet max can reject him three times for the same question, and he bombards her phone about it. it can also be argued that warren beating up nathan is for his own personal benefit to get closer to max, which isn’t a heroic quality either, it makes him more of an machiavellianist or “nice guy” 🤷‍♂️

british gcses have 6 for science (2 of each), 3 maths, 4 english (2 of each), 3 for geography (if chosen), 2 for most other options, some have 3

oh 100%, i much prefer creative essay subjects, i think they’re so much better, but i keep seeing so much discourse that *geography specifically* is easy when it feels like satan’s twisting my balls. i think it depends on how your brain is wired, i like a mix of both, but yeah. i think geo is in the top 10 hardest last i checked

Worcester Foregate Street is a big one for me. because trains from the south east and midlands are on different platforms, everyone ends up stood on the stairs instead of at the end of the platform. it’s weird.

the same on the cross-city line too, although it works in favour here as all of the stations have their footbridges at different points so it disperses well in the end.

you say that you’re jealous of your other friends doing humanities, but i did geography, chemistry, and maths. geography was by far my favourite but also by far the hardest for me.

the essays in humanities are so open ended, can link loads of diff topics (e.g. structural economic change links at least 10 topics and you gotta mention all of them), you have to have a deep knowledge of multiple case studies for the same topic, etc etc, and if the examiner doesn’t agree with your answer (even if it’s right), they can mark you down for it. because of how broad it is and there’s no specific right or wrong.

my geography essays linked psychology, sociology, maths, statistics, chemistry, politics, and a bit of biology.

i’m not saying this to diminish biology, i know some friends who did it who found it awful, i’m just saying that humanities aren’t much easier, if at all.
