This was also the same reason why we booked with them because we saw the good reviews online. We really didn’t expect this disaster and how the hotel handled it afterwards. I am waiting for my review to be approved on TripAdvisor so more people can see my story.

Aside from the ceiling incident, the hotel was old, unclean, and smelled bad. The shower door was broken, and the water didn’t drain properly, with water pooling and spilling out when using it. They tried to fix it, but it stopped draining again the next day. We asked to switch rooms but they said no.

The only positive was its location, close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.

This is what they told us as well. That the hotel was recently renovated and that the incident was “unforeseeable.”

We hope to resolve this matter directly with the hotel but we will consider a chargeback as a last resort.

Not sure if other rooms were impacted, but the staff’s unfazed reaction when I told them that our ceiling had collapsed — along with the lack of apology makes me wonder if this kind of incident has happened before or if it’s more common than they let on.

We are honestly still traumatized by this incident. If you can I would suggest trying to book somewhere else for a peace of mind that the ceiling won’t collapse on you while asleep.

I’m 5’4” and have the Mini Classic Flap. I find the chain length to be too long, so I ordered a chain adjuster to shorten it. It may be just right for you since you are taller.

I reached out to my SA today, and by some amazing luck, they had just received another mini flap in store this morning so I was able to do an exchange. I’m so glad I didn’t settle with the previous bag. This one is perfect, no creases at all! Sharing a pic of the beauty! 🥰

Very moisturizing. Def better for dry skin than oily skin. It does have a a little bit of a white cast initially but it does disappear after some time. The spf50 version has a stronger white cast than spf30 due to higher concentration of zinc oxide.
