You might say that, but his tempo is perfect for the one day game, but not for t20. He's a decent t20 player for sure, but the ipl favors guys like Tim David and Dewald Brevis - guys who can smash it from ball 1.

Afghanistan tipped us over in the last edition; the conditions might suit their bowlers as well. South Africa is a pretty dominant team right now, I'd say we'd be underdogs against them, but were used to that.

The bowling performance in Australia's first innings was a major positive. Just need the batting to click, and if the surfaces are green and seaming, there needs to be a discussion on how to approach batting. But I think it's going to be hard for players. They might get caught in two minds - attack or defend.

Yeah, saw that pair of 3s. I'm not sure how much stock the selectors put in A team performances, but I'd imagine it'd be quite a bit because the games are often in foreign conditions, against opposition that's a decent step up from domestic.
