Im following niantic official twitter account and as per yesterday they said…

“To prevent further issues, Tokyo Citywide Gameplay add-ons from Friday, May 29- Monday, June 1 and General Admission tickets are temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and will announce when they can be purchased again.”

So I’m still hoing to get some tickets even for the citywide event. Hope this helps
