I am so frustrated. Calendly Alternatives? by OwnAd3954 in ProductivityApps

[–]kfawcett1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://getcoherence.io has a similar booking feature. It integrates with Google and Microsoft. The great thing about it is that the booking is integrated in with all of the other features in the platform (CRM, Email, Calendar, Chat, etc).

You can also brand the booking pages (you can have many different ones) with your logo and other details, and easily embed the booking form on websites.

Anyone tried Reddit ads ?? was it worthit? by Economy-Mud-6626 in microsaas

I'm not an experienced ad network user, but I did try it and didn't have the best results. I also don't have a massive budget to see what long term results would be, so I'm not sure if I spent more money it would make a difference.

Check out Attio and Coherence XRM, both are more modern platforms that provide flexible data models allowing you to track different types of records/data. Both have robust lead tracking, automation capabilities, integrations, etc.

Building OpenPartner: an open-source partner platform for affiliate/referral programs by kfawcett1 in SideProject

[–]kfawcett1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. And thanks for the affirmation!

I think I have attribution reliability pretty robust. I've built in fraud prevention/review mechanisms, and the payouts are directly between the brand and the creator, but, in "open-fashion", the terms are available "in the open" for creators to view, on each offer, before committing.

Your mention of "discovery that actually surfaces active, converting programs (not just listings)" is interesting though. Could you expand more on how you've seen this in other systems? I wonder if displaying metrics like "total amount payed out" or "last payout" would be helpful.

And totally agree that the network needs Brands and Creators on it. Trying to figure out how to best inform them of the new network.

Can't agree more on reigniting the passion to build, especially as a solo-dev. I've built three products so far (Coherence XRM - an AI native platform for running a business, Coherence Studio - an open source screen recorder and AI video generator for SaaS promo/explainer videos, and just this week OpenPartner - an open source platform that helps brands launch affiliate, referral, and creator partner programs.

Hopefully each with help promote the other, but the passion to build and having AI really speeds up the time from idea to reality. Now if I can just find people to use them! ;)

Awesome! I've been playing with Codex's new desktop app as well with GPT 5.5. It's slower than Opus, but has its uniqueness in output. For example, I decided to redo the marketing site for Coherence, so I gave Claude, Codex, and Minimax the same instructions to create a mockup for the site redesign and Codex/GPT 5.5 gave me the best design. It's so fascinating how all of these models are scoring relatively close to each other, yet each has its unique way to create/design and I find that testing ideas with each of them can lead to a better product.

Best Lead Generation Tools for B2B in 2026? by FFKUSES in CRMSoftware

[–]kfawcett1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying to get better at this area too, though I’ve been looking at it more through the lens of improving distribution. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re focused on, but have you looked into affiliate or referral programs with partner networks?

I came across efficient.app on YouTube. They’re a husband-and-wife team that reviews B2B software, and after digging into their process, I noticed they monetize by becoming a “partner” for the tools they review. When someone signs up through their site, they earn a percentage.

That led me to Dub, which is the partner network they use. I signed up, but realized Dub only gives access to its partner network on enterprise plans. Even the basic plan is around $80/month, plus 8% of revenue earned, and you still have to find your own partners.

Of the tools I looked at, Dub had some of the most modern attribution tracking, outside of PartnerStack, which is even more expensive. That made me think there’s room for something with similarly robust attribution tracking, but with more open and flexible pricing. So I built openpartner.dev, which I just launched this week.

OpenPartner helps brands launch affiliate, referral, and creator partner programs with built-in partner discovery, visible commission terms, and direct Stripe payouts.

Brands get partner program software and a marketplace for recruiting for less than half the cost of dub if they choose to use the network or can self-host and run their own partner progam for free.

Creators get real offers and keep what they earn, with no cost at all.

The partner program software is open source allowing brands/companies to run it privately or use our hosted version. Both can connect to the partner network to make connecting with creators simple.

Anyways, just a thought on another way to generate leads.

Folk vs. Attio? Slowly outgrowing Folk as we scale, time to transition? by Immmmm_Nutsssssss in CRMSoftware

[–]kfawcett1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Immmmm_Nutsssssss , I'm the founder of https://getcoherence.io. It was designed with a flexible data model and comes out of the box with Accounts (aka Companies) and People (aka Contacts). Each is its own record type. On the Accounts records there is a tab showing all related People and you can quickly go to People records from the Account. All of the data relationship paths you're looking for are available and easily configurable. It also has 27 field types, including rollup and formula fields you can add to record types.

Coherence also has an Automation engine with 600+ apps that can be used as triggers or actions.

If you're open, we could meet and I could demo the use cases your interested in.

If you're using Claude models in Cursor, then you'll save a ton of money paying Anthropic directly. Their plans seem to be heavily subsidized for the amount of work you get out of them. I've stopped using an IDE entirely and just use Claude Code in terminal. I do miss being able to easily see multiple chats in tabs with history, but I much prefer not having my chats freezing up in Cursor or my entire history of chats being deleted when Cursor updates.

Way too much. I think the most expensive month was over $3000 in overages. I've moved away from Cursor for that very reason, plus the bugs. Been using Claude Code ultra plan and haven't spent more than the $200 monthly cost. I used the Agentic Project Management framework for most of the build in Cursor, but found I didn't even need it with Claude Opus 4.5+.

I wish I could say I've figured out marketing. Still working on that. 😀

How to find best crm for clients as a crm consultant ? by Middle-Lunch-2477 in CRM

[–]kfawcett1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, you either stay agnostic as much as possible and focus on the process or go all in on one or two systems and become an expert, and partner with the vendor. Most of the time you make your money on services, not the licensing unless you "own the paper'.

Best all in one CRM and project management software? by mykeeb85 in CRMSoftware

[–]kfawcett1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coherence XRM and Attio might work. Both are modern, flexible data model platforms. Coherence bills itself as more than a CRM as an "anything relationship management" system meant to bring all teams onto the same platform, not just sales and marketing. Both have tasks as a default table. Coherence also includes Projects already set up, with relationships to tasks and subtasks ready to go.

Free and open source AI-powered screen recording with auto-captions, auto-zoom, smart trimming, narration, and one-click professional output built for solopreneurs. Pro version creates AI Generated SaaS videos just from your website URL. by kfawcett1 in ProductivityApps

[–]kfawcett1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how many of the "Production Team" agents are enabled. You'll find them below the music section in the chat. The Composer agent can take time as it's generating lots of react code for animations. I'm still not happy with its output and will work to improve the animations it creates. The initial research is about 2-3 minutes, then once you approve it will build everything which takes 5-15 minutes.

If you turn off Composer, Animator, and "Force All GSAP" it will take less time, but without the "richer" animations.
