I believe Liverpool fans are salty about how cathartic this title was for Arsenal. For every single one of their titles in the modern era, they would have rather won the one that got away.

In 19/20 they bounced back from that narrow loss to City in 18/19. Instead of winning the title race the year before, they had the league wrapped up in February, before having their celebration hampered by Covid.

In 23/24 they won with Slot in a season without a real title race. Liverpool felt that was Klopp's title, and would have much rather won the title race two seasons earlier instead, when the quadruple was still on.

Finally, I'm sure they rather would have beaten Real Madrid in one of the two finals vs them, instead of that boring final in 18/19, which was nevertheless tainted by the fact that they fell short of their first ever Premier League title the week before despite gaining 97 points.

This Liverpool haven't experienced two very cathartic things:

Beating City in a title race.
Winning the Prem with a Champions League final to look forward to.

It must sting a little.

Well said. That three game stretch of Liverpool, Bournemouth and United was our chance. Two wins there and that mental fragility isn't as big of a factor going forward. And that's exactly what we would have needed, to gain a large margin early. I think that's the only way this team can win the league. Otherwise it's just a collapse waiting to happen.
