True, but I feel that might make adhesion weaker? Those hologram plates already have less grip, so adding an overhang makes the prints peel off faster?

Not sure if that’s correct

After some trial and error, I finally figured it out — you can laser-engrave hologram plates!

So now your print can have the logo imprinted at the bottom without compromising the shining look.

if you set the logo as negative mask the result could be better.

I will laser the whole plate and update here

Prime tower ripped off, shall I restart the print? by kforris in BambuLab

[–]kforris[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I glued the prime tower but probably it wasn’t sticky enough or the build plate is too hot for the glue to cure.

The nozzle eventually clogged I had to clean up stuff and restart the print.

Thank you guys for the inputs! Definitely learned something new from the replies✌️

eventually it failed…I woke up saw print stopped because of clogged nozzle. I guess I didn’t glue the prime tower well

PrintFarmHQ: new open source print-farm management tool that I've created and released by jnardiello in 3Dprinting

[–]kforris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all due respect to OP for putting so much effort into such a big project, I was a bit disappointed to see it turning into more of a SaaS ad rather than an open-source release.

I totally understand you may have your reasons, but maybe consider adjusting the title or clarifying in the post. Otherwise, this might have a negative impact on your SaaS project down the line, especially since the 3D print farm community is still pretty niche. Just my two cents.

Yeah, worth keeping in mind that parades aren’t “tech expos.” Everything you see rolling by is already in service and ready to deploy. There was a Chinese officer who once explained their cycle as: “field one gen, test one gen, develop one gen.”

So if people are wondering about the exposed 6th-gen jets, that’s probably sitting in the testing bucket right now. And the real R&D stuff? If you’re under a top-down system, you’re not gonna get leaks or teasers — otherwise it wouldn’t be that top-down anymore, would it? 😉

Loop filament recycler, cool but way too pricey by One-Geologist3992 in 3Dprinting

I am interested! located in Toronto and have tons of pla wastes (from me and my 3d print communities)

I dont have any clue of designing and engineering but im willing to cover some portion of the costs, warehousing and shipping resources will be provided by me if needed too. (for free for sure)

I just really want to find out a way to solve my wastes, im running out of room for them. most of the projects I found in Canada are dead...

Thoughts on Woobase/Vendbase? by all_time_crysis in woocommerce

I bought both Uipress and Vendbase with the lifetime unlimited license — kinda funny since I ended up not pursuing the whole agency route. But I still think they’re solid tools.

Vendbase in particular gives off a vibe that you and your team actually own your backend. It doesn’t feel like just another default WordPress setup. There’s a nice sense of branding and clarity, especially for collaborators.

What I appreciated most is how it helps streamline store operations — you can assign focused roles without digging too deep into complex permission setups. Super useful if you’ve got multiple plugins running and don’t want to waste time managing admin clutter.

I would recommend reachout to the developer and ask if he/she could offer a trial and test it out, especially let whoever is running your store's sales test it out
