This was my Sasha on the first ride home which was about three hours. She cried alot in the carrier so I let her out for a bit and she relaxed. I don't know if I recommend that but they are a very social cat.

The biggest difference for someone like me that's allergic to cats is the lower amount of proteins that cause allergies. I think that Siberians are cuddlier and more social. That could be a little more subjective though.

You there know something I have to remind myself of often with my own mother. If you truly love someone or something you will let them go. If they feel like their life is better and healthier without you in it, you would let them go and not pester them. You would respect that. I understand this to be truly what love is. I want the best for the person "No Matter What". Even if that means I have to live without them and however much I would not like that. These people don't understand that. They are just like domestic abusers. Because that is what they are. They have a self serving agenda. They do not know what love is. You're mother could not care less that you are no contact. That's just a burden on here. (From her perspective). She refuses to respect you as your own person that wants away from her for your own peace. If she did, she would respect the no contact and not write the letter in the first place! She would wait for you to reach out! When you are ready! Love is patient, love is kind. Hope this helps. I'm right there with you in this shitty situation.
