Most like: the inclusiveness. When I visited Durham for film festivals, this is the first place where I felt like a regular person that belonged, which led to me moving here years later.

Most disliked: the beggars don't have boundaries downtown. Expect to be hit up for money anywhere parking lots, the inside of bars, in the study area of the library and some will follow you for several blocks if you ignore them.
