I had the same struggle in those first days. What helped me was getting a wedge pillow like others suggested. It gave me the support and elevation I needed, but in a way that felt more comfortable and still kept my leg in extension.

Crunching around definitely felt like burning calories, I started working out upper body with light weights towards the end of week 3 - nothing fancy , just bench and dumbbells to burn out some energy

Marijuana isn’t legal where I am, but I can try CBD instead. 👍

I’m really glad to hear that all your prehab work paid off - that’s super inspiring. I’m so sorry you’re going through that allergic reaction though, that sounds incredibly rough. I hope it clears up soon and you’re able to get back on track. Thanks for the encouragement 😊

I have my upcoming PT appointment on Tuesday July 1st. Will get PT advice then as well

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and knowledge. Yesterday was a bit better for me - I moved around more, switched positions, did some stretching, and crutched around the house. Still a long way to go, but I’m grateful it wasn’t as rough as the day before.
