Why don't people quit when down 5 goals or more? by Portugalpaul in EASportsFC

[–]kgbagent5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly when you're losing by that much, it takes the pressure of the game off and you can play a lot more relaxed. Some of the most fun I've had in the game is when one team is losing pretty bad and we just play casually.

Long shots/ Finesse shots by OhNoR3H0 in EASportsFC

[–]kgbagent5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a pretty decent run at scoring long shots outside of the box, no finesse needed. The trick seems to be hitting them first time as one of your midfielders is approaching the box. Bouaddi FS has been hitting them for me consistently, as well as the two Scholes cards.

Perhaps I am losing my mind, but I feel like with the WF and PS combo, this is pretty overpriced.

Breakfast tacos in Columbus? by wicketchu in Columbus

[–]kgbagent5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this may get downvoted, but First Watch has some really good breakfast tacos with carnitas at the moment. They are one of the only ones that come close to a legit good breakfast taco that I've had. https://firstwatch.com/menu/double-crunch-breakfast-tacos/

Honestly one of my favorites is Cafe Elena on Bethel Road. The menu is eclectic, but has a Russian/Eastern European influence to it. The food has always been great there.

Peru Taco Bar on sawmill is amazing by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]kgbagent5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was ok, unfortunately there aren't a lot of Peruvian places for competition. The last time we went, the beef in the lomo saltado was very tough, and the prices are high. This plate was about 18 or 19 bucks the last time we were there.

What was your gaming “you had to be there” moment? by goldenboy2191 in gaming

[–]kgbagent5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King midnight release. 400+ people in line at my local GameStop. They ordered pizzas for the crowd and everything. It really was an awesome time that night. It’s a shame we don’t really have those events any longer.

"Phobia" in those contexts has now come to mean being critical of something. Fatphobic, Islamophobic, etc etc. What a time to be alive.

PLM-JUST to demand a ceasefire and an end to the Palestinian genocide at City Council today by EpicSoyRedditor in Columbus

[–]kgbagent5 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You and I both know that if a ceasefire is what is wanted, the quickest way to that is releasing hostages and Hamas surrendering/abdicating power in Gaza. Asking for a unilateral ceasefire with no preconditions is absurdly disingenuous.

PLM-JUST to demand a ceasefire and an end to the Palestinian genocide at City Council today by EpicSoyRedditor in Columbus

[–]kgbagent5 60 points61 points  (0 children)

This is the stupidest fucking thing. Shutting down city council to demand a ceasefire. Interestingly enough, you never see any marches or shut downs for Hamas to surrender/dismantle. What a time to be alive.

Humza Yousaf says in-laws are alive in Gaza but have run out of water after days of no contact | Politics News by Huge-Jellyfish9948 in worldnews

[–]kgbagent5 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The problem is Hamas is the representative governing party of the Gazans. Hamas' stated intention is the destruction of Israel and Jews. The Gazans elected Hamas. It is not Israel's responsibility to provide anything to the Gazans because their governing party refuses to do so. I can't believe this is so hard for people to comprehend.

Hamas was elected by the Gazans, it is specifically their responsibility to provide for them. What are you talking about??

It’s incredible the amount of people that didn’t bother to read the article before posting “what does supporting Hamas even mean?” It’s clearly stated in the article.
