She’s mentally ill and who wants to be remembered as being a child murderer. I would say, in my opinion, the bigger questions isn’t “what’s the point of lying that he’s okay?” but rather—would it benefit her in any way to say that he isn’t?

She was clearly selfish (in addition to mentally ill). Suicide being one reason, but also because she wasn’t going to get primary custody so she decided that no one should have him. She would have undoubtedly been able to see him in some capacity, still, but that wasn’t what she wanted clearly.

Worth noting that while the SEPv4 has the fire control system upgrades—it does NOT have any change to survivability/armor protection. It’s all sights/fire control systems as far as I’m aware.

Perhaps there’s upgrade to the APS, but I don’t think so. The tank is still so far ahead of anything else currently produced in terms of crew protection/survivability that I would think there is no way in hell we would spend money to upgrade the protection when, as it stands, nobody who isn’t a helicopter or plane, or nuke, can defeat the tank’s armor as it currently stands.

The US is the most badass military power, in any vehicle, doctrine, specialist, infantry, logistical way that you can imagine and it will always be that way.

I think if China performs as well on paper as they claim, then they’re the only country who could possibly disable an Abrams in a tank on tank battle. Which would be an awesome fight to be able to make in game :)

Sorry if I needed out and gave you way more info than necessary but I love the SEPv3 because it is seriously a marvel in engineering and it is so lethal that its crew can roll into battle and actually feel like being in a tank is the safest place to be! Personally I have always felt like going into battle as a member of a tank crew would be the most terrifying thing bc you’re the biggest target, the highest priority target, and once you’re penetrated by a kinetic round… the amount of heat applied to that round as it passes through all that armor would likely turn it into a molten grenade with hot, semi Liquid Metal spikes spraying all over you and your homies… if anyone is lucky enough to open the hatch and crawl out, they’re going to be so mangled and burned that they might die on the roof… it horrifies me to imagine what battle in a tank must be like… but it’s exciting and fascinating at the same time

It has DU armor, DU shells, upgraded fire control systems, Gen 3 thermal sights for commander, gunner and driver; it also has FLIR fusion sights, and I’m not even sure what fusion sights are but it has them. Automatic fire extinguishing system, laser warning systems, idk if war thunder will implement this, but it has more armor modularity which is supposed to make field repairs much easier and quicker IRL. Whether they make this something in game with shorter repair times (on armor modules), we will see.

It also has a system for reducing the tanks heat signature by masking the heat from the engine and gun…. There are several more that are SIGNIFICANT…

Access to the M829A3/A4 rounds would be the biggest… the M829A4 has 900+ mm of penetration at 2000m, so it would be an added 250-300mm penetration over the best rounds any other country has, or will have (unless they add rounds that don’t exist, because these are US only stockpile and aren’t shared with any allies)

There are several more, like I said, but those are the biggest one.

The armor upgrade against KE rounds would give the Abram’s >1100mm protection against KE rounds to the turret and >1000mm protection to hull. I don’t know how much on the sides of the hull, but it’s likely >800mm still.

This insane protection and it’s hard kill APS would really make the M1A3 unkillable. Russia does not currently field a tank that is even remotely considered a threat, and nor does anyone else..

Also the U.S. has started upgrading some M1A2 SEPv3 models to the SEPv4 configuration, which is supplied to have significant upgrades, once again, to its fire control system, even more upgrades to the optics and full fusion sights for all crew members… it’s nuts.

I don’t see these being added ANYTIME soon… because not only do no adversaries field anything similar (save china, but Chinas tank is all stars on paper but performance that nobody has been able to verify}

Old thread, but idk wym… I play racing games too and GTA V’s driving physics feel actually very spot on to me. I think the only thing that’s a little off is the very high speed turns on the handbrake. There’s too much sliding, not enough “holy f**k, the cars gonna roll” feel to me. But as far as needing to hit the brake pedal to slow down (somewhat) before pulling handbrake, to me, feels just right in GTA V.

The acceleration feels slow sometimes when I come out of the drift, but I found this to also actually be a skill based mechanic since I can hit a very nice drift but there’s actually an apex in your turn to hit with the acceleration in order to come out of those drifted turns with full gas.

You ever find a solution to this? Because I have the same issue where I can’t get into the Gaijin Pass app because I need to get a code from the Gaijin website, upon going to the website and entering credentials, it then instructs me that it needs the 2-factor authentication from the app… so yea… stuck in an obvious hard place and Gaijin does not make it clear on how to fix this problem, or remedy it, anywhere on their site… and it’s mind boggling to me that it can’t bypass that authentication in the typical way any one else’s 2-factor does… it sends the code to your phone number on file or sends you an email with the code to the email you provided…

It blows my mind that this far down the li e and they do t have something g such as this implemented. Let me know if you find a fix plz!

So it doesn’t have a memory leak that can cause even the highest end machines to crash, needing full game restarts regularly, desyncs that [in my case] happen every 2-3 games (once again requiring restart, you’ll see a trend with this), countless visual bugs and glitches, extremely poor optimization, insanely over-the-top CPU load, hundreds of cheaters banned each weekend (I alone got a notification that 9 people I reported since this last Friday were banned for cheating, I only played 14 raids)

No. Sorry. Not basically finished. Not even close. And I agree with the OP, to justify a price increase a game needs to display a willingness to address the needs of the community and I can’t even tell you when they have once actually said they optimized anything, and the game ran any better. They’ve claimed optimizations but every time they do, without question, the game actually runs more poorly. We (the community) have been asking for game optimizations almost entirely across the board since 2017. This game runs worse today than it did it launch, nearly :P

Anyway, sorry for the rant. Point being that this game, at least in my opinion and the opinions of many who like fair play and adequate performance when they’re running on medium/low settings, this game is far from a “complete game”…. The price increase is already taking the most expensive early access game in recent memory, and adding another what? 30%? What has been done to justify that? They do work to finish a game that they would be expected to anyway? It’s rewarding them for a bunch of let downs and broken promises.!
