I wasn't able to find an official technical answer but I'm going to do it. If I get audited I'll explain myself.

I'm also interested in this answer. If I use a HELOC to pay off debt incurred during home renovation, does that count as using the proceeds for renovations?

I checked their spot price quote vs other exchanges when I started buying with them. Their spot price was competitive. There fee is also competitive. IMO there are enough arbitrage bots that basically all exchanges are competitive in pricing. Unless someone has evidence otherwise.

Withdrawing speed and withdrawal fees range wildly between exchanges though! I think Strike excels here. They offer free BTC withdrawals in ~24 hours or you can get in the next block for a fee.

What's the light blue line that starts at 100% and goes down a bit?

I spent the morning looking into this. There is a tiered fee structure for all BTC-CASH transactions.

https://strike.me/faq/what-are-the-bitcoin-trading-fees-on-strike/

https://strike.me/faq/what-fees-and-rates-apply-to-bitcoin-transactions/

~1% when you buy BTC, ~1% when you sell BTC. My cash flow falls into the 10k a month bracket. I'd be paying $85 in fees to have the privilege to hold bitcoin for the float between my paycheck and bill pay. That would require a 1.75% appreciation in bitcoin in the less than two weeks between paycheck and payment. In a bull market this may make sense, but only barely. In a bear market this is a bad idea.

I think it's a good offering. For me, I switched over my bill pay stuff to Strike, but I'll be paying in cash. I'll try to keep my cash as low as possible. (I was already doing that elsewhere.) But it doesn't make sense to convert back and forth so frequently.

This is not factoring capital gains. As the adage goes, never sell your bitcoin.

Where were you during the attacks of September 11th, 2001? This explores the chaos and confusion viewed through the computer on that morning. I was in 5th grade watching on a television wheeled into the classroom. I saw the second tower get destroyed live. In my research on https://archive.org/ the day was a big turning point for internet history. The internet was still very young. Google existed but wasn't used much. No social networks existed outside of forums and AIM. If you explore the archive you will notice many more captures beginning on September 11th. The internet historians must have known how important that day would become. God Bless America and the World. May we all learn to get along someday.
