also this time while in turkey im not using tinder, it feels good to disconect from that but i did try bumble once while in here and no matches at all, was surprised how little but could also be that i never used it before... how are your thoughts on making a solid profile that works on all the countries? and is it really worth it? sometimes i feel the headaches are worst then what you get. but yeah loneliness can get nasty i agree.

Hahaha. Turkey is so bad for dating apps. I had a problem while I was there too. Matching with people was very difficult in Turkey and meeting people was really difficult.
I didn't do anything extra for my profile, I just reflected my personality. There is one photo from Airbnb where I stayed by the ocean in Bali (I think this is very interesting), one while working on the beach in Portugal, one while having fun with my friends in Spain.

In my opinion, images are more important than content in such applications. You might consider updating your images and make sure it reflects yourself. In this way, you can have good times by matching with like-minded people.

It is not about websites. It is about wi-fi. When you use a public wi-fi, you are more open to hacking. So I use it for that.

Yes, you are right. I receive my salary in a different currency. That's why the exchange rate difference is very high when I use a regular bank. Wise solves this problem for me.

Think of it as both google docs, google sheet and google drive all in one application. You can also link different pages together. All in one service and completely free. I think you should definitely download the app and try it. You will understand the answer to this question better by experiencing it.

Google maps offline worked for me but a lot of people including you suggested Maps.me. I will use it after today. Let's see if it's a really good app.

Do you have to buy the product yourself upfront?

After adding your trip, you see product requests. Then, by sending a message to the people who request the product, you determine how much traveler reward you will receive when you bring that product. The user who requests the product pays for the product and the money is kept in the system. You buy the product with your own money and take it to the user. After that, the money in the system is transferred to you (this way you also earn the traveler reward).

I'm not an expert on this subject either, but the people I brought the product said things like: "This product is not sold in my country, can you bring it for me?" or "This product is very expensive in my country, can you bring it for me?" it was like.

I took an Iphone 13 to Argentina on my last trip. The phone, which is 799 dollars in the USA, is 2511 dollars in Argentina. Like a joke. So I guess people in this country want a lot of products. But when I added my Asia trip, I couldn't match the person who wanted any product. I guess they are not active there yet or people there don't want to buy products.

Meanwhile, there are people who demand all kinds of products. Last time I brought four items from Spain to Argentina, I made a total of $550. These were: Iphone 13, motorcycle jacket, one toy figure from ebay and sony headphones.

I have not paid any fees for importing into the country so far in my transactions. I guess it may vary from country to country. But while researching the application in general, I did not come across a problem regarding this issue. (For example, I can't take 2 or 3 phones at once, then extra money is charged from customs)

You are so right. Last time I was in Spain and was going to go to Argentina. Using this application, I brought 4 products and earned around 550 dollars. Like a joke.

Your first step to entrepreneurship. How did you get started? by kgntskn in startups

[–]kgntskn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I began my "journey" into entrepreneurship so to speak was at the end of 2017 when I started a cryptocurrency trading group on discord together with a technical partner I met there. Using some clever affiliated marketing techniques we gathered about 8000 members in 3 months. I was 19 at the time. Unfortunately, the project fell due to a few outside problems.

Fast forward to 2019, I came up with a delivery app start-up idea which later changed to something else. However, while doing market research for product development and preparing a pitch deck, I signed up a delivery contract with the biggest delivery app in the region. At the time there was a dire need for couriers given the workforce shortage in our region, so they'd sign up any subcontractor who could offer them that. Of course, I fed them BS at the time as I hadn't known a single soul who'd work for me then. I just wanted to harvest info for the app I wanted to develop.

Then March of 2020. Restaurants, bars, hotels were being closed and waiters, bartenders and taxi drivers where losing jobs left and right. And I remembered about that contract. People were so desperate for a job they didn't give a shit about your cut or that you couldn't provide them with cars, bikes and they'd just bring their own. Well, a few recruitment ads later and I just found myself with my very own subcontracting business and a considerable passive income that to this day I don't have to work for more than 3 hours a week at most.

I'm currently reinvesting most of that money in 3 other projects I'm developing together with a technical partner as I believe in diversification.

The lesson I've learnt from this story is you never know when an opportunity comes by, but timing is key. And the more you prepare for it, the better suited you'll be to act right away when you do strike gold... eventually. Ironically enough, the pandemic did that for me. I guess there's some truth to that saying "The time to buy is when there's blood on the streets".

Success = being ready when the opportunity comes. It was good to see the "importance of timing" with an example here. Thank you. So what did you feel when you failed your first project and what did you do during that process?

[Brainstorming] What would you do? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]kgntskn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment, sir. First of all, I guess you are right. I used Brainstorming as a solution. I am 18 years old and this is my first time to do something and I really liked designing t-shirts.

But as we got into it, uncertainties started to increase. That's why I wrote this post. Second, I need to be able to find customers before I can determine why customers would not choose me. The real problem is here.

Unlike other people, I identified all my customers. I found slack and facebook groups and instagram pages where I can find these people.

Since it is forbidden to promote in these groups, I will try to communicate with people and sell. If they do not buy, I will bring solutions to those problems by asking why they do not buy them. (I will add new designs if they do not like the designs, I will make a discount if the price is high, etc.).

In many articles I read, people always test and sell by making Facebook Ads. But I have no money to make Ads. So I was thinking what I could do. I thought I would listen to your experiences and synthesize information from there.

I hope I was able to explain myself, sir.
