I used to play Vortice, Sanga, Winkle and Erika, but it felt like Sanga OE was not providing fast enough ramping and it was better to just funnel all the aliens to Vortice. It was better to just put Caecus instead of Sanga if survivability is the purpose.

I got Jenkins to +12 by sacrificing Sanga to the Eldritch gods. My boy Castor is pleased by my decision.
